Great question. 1. Draw a circle 2. Then a square covering half of the circle 3. Select both shapes (the square first), go to Merge Shapes and select "Intersect". - You should get a half circle. 4. Remove its fill color 4. Right click anywhere at the bottom (line) of the half circle and select "Edit Points" 5. Right click again and select "Delete Segment" 6. If you get a "hanging segment", just repeat step 5. Let me know if this works.

For the 2nd one.. how do you make the circles have that line around them for that much % of the circle?
