I need some technical support. I hope you can help me figure this out. I just bought a big pumpkin inflatable, but I have no idea how to set it up outside. The power cord for mine is different. The plug is a small box with 2 metal prongs on the end of it, & the power cord plugs into that. The instructions say to only plug it into a covered Class A GFCI protected receptacle. I don't have one on the outside of my house. I just have a regular outlet by my front door. It sounds like this plug has to be completely covered, (like it's not weather/water proof), but I don't know why they would attach a plug that's not weather/water proof to an outdoor item. Even if I had an enclosed GFCI receptacle, the power cord is too short, so the inflatable would be too close to the house. Besides that, I wanted it more in the yard than next to the house. I don't see how the box that the plug is on could even fit inside of a covered receptacle. Is there any information that you can give me?
You do not need a covered outlet, the cords usually withstand extreme weather, and for the cable being too short, you could buy an extension cord from like lowes or Home Depot or Walmart.
Does it really matter? The inflatable is 20 years old and you'll never find it again lol 😂 That was one of the six very first Halloween inflatables ever made by Gemmy before all this knockoff garbage on amazon
How do you clean these inflatables once they get dirty and get bird mess on them...Mine are totally dirty with all that...what i do is i get a rag with a Simple Green spray and spray it on the rag and possibly on the inflatable itself, then i also have a towel and bring a plastic bucket of water to rinise it off. How does everyone else clean up his/her inflatables...i dont see any vids on how to clean them after they been used. Please help me with this. Thank you.
Hi, I’m putting up Halloween inflatables for the first time. What do you do when it rains and hits the electric on the power stake? Does it effect your inflatables?
Hi, the reason you use a power stake is for when it rains. The power stake has a fuse in it so if something goes wrong, the fuse blows and everything is protected. The power stake is designed for outdoor use that way. Have fun with your inflatables!

I've heard that thre are some holiday gremlins that dont' like inflatables, and will knive at inflatables, I like the holidays, but it isn't the same when ((the family is all separated)), when ((the parents have passed on)), So holidays dont have any meaning any longer for me, it's jsut repeatative ((routine seasonal chores of Decorating)) holidays aren't happy for me so I just say holiday ((greetings)) NOT ((happy)) holidays because they aren't ((happy)) and I don't pretend to be happy. I also DON'T BUY JUNK that is out there and run a C/C up with HIGH INTEREST , SO I just keep the holidays QUIET & SIMPLE and just live day to day.

MindSwoosh thank you. So there is no need to cover it with anything when it rains or is buried in snow?

Hello Vlog, I haven't uploaded more videos simply because I haven't bought any new inflatables. I'm still using the ones in all the videos...
