Do you plan on testing one of the earlier LFP Model 3 for degradation soon? Would be interesting to see how they actually stack up against NMC, also considering the claims we know regarding high cycle life. Obviously only if there are some semi high mileage ones out there already
I think the lights could stand a bit of adjustment because if they are designed to not annoy other drivers automatically, it has to be able to do that effectively. I know how I am when brights are coming at me for ANY length of time and I don't want to annoy drivers by hitting them with my brights. Thanks, Bjorn, for the drop.
Yes, the PS2 follows the direction of the steering wheel. It's very noticeable during foggy weather. I wonder why they got rid of the fog lights for the P@4?? It would look even nicer imo
@@micha8765 Yes but Teslas pixel lights are trash. My Tesla pixel lights didnt work properly and the car inspection even dissaproved the lights. I needed to pay to repair the lights.
@@quavohuncho6156 dont know which version of headlights you have but at my Teslas it is working okayish... of course not as good as Matrix light at Volkswagens but its sufficient

Great analysis, thank you! I have a quick question: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). What's the best way to send them to Binance?
While matrix may be of some benefit to an owner when you're being followed by a vehicle with matrix the random dancing headlights lighting up the sides of my car are a big distraction
some people seem to flash as they *think* they will be blinded as the lights light up surroundings like a regular headlight; that is my experience from driving the P2
The whole point of matrix (and pixel) lights is that they don't blind other people. I've had them in four cars (Opel Astra, Golf GTE, ID4 and Polestar 2) and can't remember that many people flashing me 🤷♂️ Atleast the ones from VW worked great. I haven't had much chance to test the ones on the current Polestar 2 since it just recently started getting dark in the evening.
What auto light works without traffic reacting? Have not tried one that's a 100. But I think P2 and Volvos is on par with any other system. And manual is still an option 😊
You have got this wrong. They do not blind other drivers. Oh small exception is truck drivers as they are sitting so high that system cannot react to their lights.
@@GetOutThere1 Yeah all lights blind if you come behind a hill, even these matrix things... but that said Polestar 2 will try to even shut down upper pixels to minimize this, but there are cases where you simply cannot avoid blinding, but good Matrix lights are better than normal lights anyway even if they cannot avoid all the blinding. But trucks are problem for pixels lights ... phystics does not allow easy solution for that.

Hi Björn,
my PS2 (first edition) has 84 pixels in each headlight, as far as I remember.
And P4 have 32 according to polestar website

It has half dimming on shiny signs, but no cornering. Odd choice.

I think I saw in another review that you can turn the turning head lights on/off in the menu
Love my pixel lights on my Polestar 2. Its far better than Teslas pixel lights. Works just like my friends Audis pixel lights.
cost for Tesla pixel light: 0 € ;)

What is the power (wattage) of these lights?
The matrix light here also seems to dim for reflective signs
Premium Matrix 👍

Vel, dette ser bedre ut enn min Polestar 2, og lysene roterer ikke på 2.

No, it is because of the slope
@@ytl6674 OK I will play that part again and have a look
Edit: OK could seem that there was a dip in the road which made the headlights bounce

I don't like the System it is very nervous and turns on the lights and off and on and blinds people 😢
