All these years later I just want you to know that you're still helping out immature guitarists like myself to practice over and over until our fingers are sore. Much thanks
Brings back so many wonderful memories of my childhood spent in Limerick with family... I used to play this on the whistle. Thank you so much for this beautiful rendition 🙏☘😊
Lovely. What a gorgeous sounding Mandola / Octave Mandolin (or whatever). Gorgeous lift when the concertina comes in. PS.... Oops. I see I commented a year ago. Oh well. That's the memory of a 66 year old for you 😁
5 years too late. But thank you and bless you for the love of such a beautiful thing to care enough to learn how to pass it on so I might know it even lived. Dave in Dublin.
Thank's David. I love all your videos. You are a very talented man! For those interested in the correct Irish prononciation, it's - Tour dumb duh lawve (pronounce the first part of lawve as in law) e.g. not leave but lawve :-)
I love it!!! I have been practicing this song to your accompaniment. Would you agree to me recording this song on harmonica with your video as a "backing track"? I would post it to YT for a non-commercial use.

I'd say "tore dum doh lav" (lav sounding like lavatory rather than law)
@@eimead You can't be Irish :-)

As long as you give me credit for the backing track I have no problem with you using it.
@@DavidHansen408 Of course I will give you credit and put a link to your original video. Thank you! :)
Superbe !
