It's been a minute guys. This one is an unboxing and quick comparison between the new SC-Project CR-T exhaust vs the Akrapovic GP. The MT10 has been quite lacking in the sound department EVEN with the Akra. The double edged sword is that the CR-T is boarder line "too loud" for daily use. I fricken love it! XD

Sc has more thumping sound than the akra , akra is more like hmmmm sound. Voted on SC ❤️💪 glad Gary doing well too
Yeah man it's hard to tell exactly on video but you're right it does have more of a thump to it. Really hits you in the chest when it gets loud

the SC is louder no doubt , but the Akra sounds soo refined when u give it some RPMS. love it haha

Nice 👍 little bit loud for the U.K. though. I’ve had bit MT10 Akrapovic and I settled on an R1 Akrapovic as the bore is larger more deeper sound. Use with the Leovince decat pipe
Spoken like a true Englishman!! 😂 I haven't yet done the tip swap that you sent me for the Akrapovic can so she could redeem herself in terms of sound quality in a future video.. 🤔 Time will tell

God bless you! Most people just discard their pets. My pets are part of the family....for life! And yes, I went through 4H with my kids with ownership of pigmy goats, pigs, horses, etc. I would hate to count the tens of thousands I've spent over the years, without regret!

I just got my 2018 mt10. Dude did a cat less straight pipe and it sounds like shit when I’m just cruising but sounds really good everywhere else. I’m heavily leaning towards getting this and just keeping the car less straight pipe, just adding this

The sc does sound better but probably a lot more obnoxious. Which probably isnt the worst thing.
Good to see gary is wanting to get back on a feed. Its not good he needed a trip to the vet, but hopefully he gets back to whatever goats do soon. Dunno what that is, im pretty sure its either being smart or deadset evil.

Nah I needed to make up a bracket for the SC. Both Akra and SC fit on my Akrapovic link pipe

I think I just about prefer the Akra - sounds a little crisper. Are they the Rizoma mirrors? What's the visibility like?
Shocking visibility tbh but I can headcheck easier on this bike because it's upright, compared to the R1

We have 2 MT-10. I put the SC project CRT first bike. When we got the 2nd bike wanted to do something different so we got the arrow. The arrow is was louder, more thumping than the SC project. The SC project is awesome but the arrow exhaust is crazy. The AKRA is 💩 never like them.
Akra gives the best gains on these bikes by far lol. Graves is a close 2nd.
What mid pipe you use ?

hi. nice sound. can you share the exact model number and details? i want to buy from my Yamaha MT-10 2023. Beacuse the one that is avaialbe on SC project website comes with stongeguard grid and i don't yours with stoneguard grid. Part number: Y38A-T36TR

the sc makes the bike sound abit like a 2 cylinderat idle, not nescessarily bad. but the cp4 is one of the best sounding engines
I mean the Akra doesn't sound bad but the sc project gives the bike the bark the Akra is definitely missing

Glad Garry is feeling better. Animals are the best people. F me... My Akra + link pipe easily hits 118/120 db on my 2016 R1. My mate has the SC and Its just too loud. I refuse to ride behind him. Its painfully loud IMO. Akra for sure gets my vote. Who cares if everybody has it? There is a reason for that. I also think build quality is higher on the Akra Vs the SC.
Also... how are the cops in Aus for noise? In SA they arent bothered unless you are "that guy". But I know in other countries its quite strict.
IMO the R1 engine is much louder than the MT10. Probably the tune. Idk. We did a test in a previous video and everyone thought the stock can with link pipe sounded better than the Akra. Akra just doesn't make sense unless you're just going for looks

They both sound great but sc for the win 😁 question, if you dont mind...I recently found out my exhaust is illegal...but I'm a little clueless 😅 I'm thinking it's because it's too loud 🤷♀️
Yeah it's a tough one. All of the exhaust on my bikes are illegal. Just a matter of not getting caught I guess. I never attend weekend bike meets because there's always cops. I also avoid riding on Friday and Saturday nights for the same reason (defect stations in Sydney)
