I swear!!!! I saw a video where she was saying, i was a bit afraid of them but now i love them ( the power tools) , and a few months later she was breaking apart and putting back together a whole house..crazy!!! Such an inspiration

The house is coming along fantastically. I love the very ending of this video. It reminded me of the time I went to Home Depot to get wood cut for a project and got into a disagreement with the guy cutting my wood because he was trying to tell me how to do the project which I had mapped out. I don’t know why men think women can’t build things or paint.

MaCenna I nearly cried watching you paint the exterior, I've been watching you since the very start and it makes me so happy to see how far you've come with the cottage! You've inspired me to start building soon and start working on my future home, you give me so much inspiration!
I've always been a DIYer but you've inspired me to do more. I just purchased the floor from a basketball court in a school that was torn down. I'll be spending the summer milling it all to use as the ceiling on our wrap around porch. So happy you're back to uploading!

My dad always use to say to us kids there’s no such word as can’t. He was right those words stayed with me all my life and my brother and sister also. We all can do everything. Painting’ upholstery, plumbing, electrical work, gardening you name it. I think you must have had some encouragement from you parents you remind me of me when I was young. I can definitely tell a difference on the whites! As someone who also lives in an old, white house it is amazing what a coat of paint can do, and which white you use makes such a difference!

I built sth for my home this weekend. When I got to buy the wood, it was a lot and really heavy. Since I do not own a car, I had do go 2km with all the wood home. And you know what mantra I had? “You can do anything, you set your mind to.” Always remembering you and your mum putting up the walls. So Thank youuuuuu!!! ❤️

Spray gun wastes a bit more paint than just using a brush so that’s probably why it seems like two gallons would have been enough for the black window trim but ended up being 3 windows short! Glad to see you’re back! Hope your break was relaxing!
MaCenna, don't forget to wear a respirator and safety glasses when using a paint sprayer, even when outside. 😘 Love the house progress and your infectious energy!
So glad you’re back…. If you want to paint under your trim, don’t forget to paint a final coat once it’s installed, the paint helps prevent water getting behind the trim pieces.
