  • In the tombs that ancient Egyptians prepared for their deaths, they left a record of how they lived more than 3000 years ago, today. But the full meaning of many of the images remains a mystery. In almost every Egyptian tome one image stands out; the blue lotus.

    Interesting, but a botanist would mention the fact that a plant grown in England could be VERY DIFFERENT than the same plant grown in Egypt. Lavender is an excellent example. Lavandula angustifolia grown in France is quite different from same plant grown in say...USA. Chemical constituents, scent of oil, all quite different. The soil & other growing mediums do affect the plant.

    Nymphaea Caerulea commonly known as Egyptian blue water lilly. These stunning Lilly's were commonly found growing on the banks of the river Nile. To the Egyptians it symbolised life, immortality, and rebirth.
    The Egyptians saw that the blue water lilly opened up each morning showing off it's intense golden center along with its blue pedals symbolizing the sky and Each afternoon, they would close again only to open again each day. The Egyptians believed the flower was strongly associated with the rising and setting sun and thus to the sun god Ra and the story of creation. The religious significance of the flower was great thus the sacred lilly could be found throughout ancient Egypt it was adorned on tomb walls and on sacred carvings it was even found within the sarcophaguses of Pharaoh's such as Tutankhamun.
    Egyptians extracted the lilly into fine wine isolating the two main compounds
    apomorphine and nuciferine These alkaloids were responsible for the flower’s psychoactive and medicinal effects. The effects of the lotus wine are said to act as a slight sedative. Its presence felt through the crown chakra allowing for deeper insight and creativity accompanied by slight euphoria and relaxation. It is also said to act as an aphrodisiac.

    I’ve been looking deep into blue lotus and no one seems to have any intense effects from them. I took lotus for months and they once caused the most intense dream I have ever experienced. I had about 5 dreams that I can recall back to back and then woke up inside my dream like 6+ times. I was told I was trapped in the dream and would never come back. This experience was a year ago, I still take lotus and have not experience this since. It was so traumatic, yet one is the most profound things I’ve ever experienced. The narrator is sooo negative. They found “one” mummy of an elderly lady and “assumed” to know what “all” Egyptian life was like. He was particularly bent on proving they stayed high off the Lotus and this proved to not be true. It was NOT a hallucinogen. This elderly lady developed diseases and died , that doesn’t mean the whole population had this disease and in fact they found evidence that she was treated with medicines to help this. But the narrator “assumed” that they were too primitive to have such a medicine.
    When the narrator passes away I hope his mummy critic is more kind.

      Yes!! Blue lotus is one of the ingredients in my organic India supplement Along with Ashwagganda. I noticed that Blue lotus can help one to be more present in The Moment. It's great if one practices meditation or likes to ponder and Contemplate. It's a more Spiritual Flower . Many people think it gets you high but I wouldn't call the blue lotus effect a high. It just helps you to be more Present in The Now. Also I noticed how after taking Blue Lotus, when it starts to take effect, the colors look more Vivid and brighter. I was staring at a tree and it was so so green. And the sky and mountains looked more Alive in color. It's like having HD Vision. But other than that, it's very mild. Also I didn't notice any dream changes.

    I doubt any lotus you eat today is the blue lotus of the Egyptians. Fascinating culture. Still so much to teach humanity. Thousands of years before their time!

    Lotus (Blue) explained;
    The (3 parts) of the lotus symbol represent Sun-Sunlight causes gravity and All matter is Positive and Negative charges.
    Left-side - Positive charge
    Middle - Sun-Sunlight
    Right-side - Negative charge
    Universe flows from Positive to negative from the Sun to the planet (Dust, Dirt, Stone) is a negative charge. All Terrans understand this and are taught in school I am J.Terran the only Terran to be born on Eden/Earth 53 years old.

    Noahs ark was the ikon. The lotus was an analogy of the floating zoo. The ark is the first idol, the image of a starving man in a trance is noah, waiting for the sun to return,(enlightenment) for the trance to end.The petals of the lily resemble the hull of the watercraft, the roots symbolise the drogue stones which were draped over there covering of the ark. The ark is found in all post babel cultures represented by dolmens, barrows kufon, pagodas, the inverted boat hull can be seen in cathedrals, onion domes etc. Since the ark was a tomb and a womb, the arc of the hull resembling the female form. The ark contained all land and air creatures.

    Is lotus really an aphrodisiac?

  • @tylermoore4429
    @tylermoore4429 Год назад +1

    I wonder what present-day Egyptians make of the Western fascination with their ancient past.
    Reg. the blue lotus, I don't think it has to be effective to gain symbolic significance. I seriously doubt most people in Ancient Egypt were living long enough to worry about blood flow. I believe the flower just happens to occupy a particular space in their system of signs and symbols, and its rarity and beauty may have more to do with being placed in that role than the efficacy of its bioflavonoids.

    Blue lotus doesn't get you high. Its not that kind of substance. Blue Lotus helps one to be more Present in The Moment!! So I can see how it's great for meditation and contemplation. And the colors look more vivid or brighter. It's like having HD Vision. I never experienced any hallucinations or visuals or any kind of high. Like I said, it's not a high. As for dreaming, i Haven't noticed a different in my dreams. Also it raises my semen volume so that I ejaculate alot of semen. Blue lotus is supposed to be an aphrodisiac. I take a supplement that has blue lotus that's combined with Ashwagganda and rama Tulsi.
