I was there as a kid. My dad, Spurs supporter, took me, an Arsenal supporter and my West Ham supporting class mate to the game. It was less tribal in those days! 7 goals in a game was very rare for the 1970s. Always had a soft spot for West Ham ever since.
Happy to say I was there in the South Bank that day , we played some entertaning football that season.My abiding memeory from this game will always be Brookings flick and Lampards goal
