That was amazing ! I didn’t know this song. I love it ! Thank you. Some People are saying reactors are useless but I think they help to discover music and songs to all generations. Thank you for your content. I lost the count of goosebumps during this song
Hey, thank you for this journey through the music of Marillion. In my humble opinion the best band of them all. It is a pleasure to watch your reaction, with often some true remarks on daily life. Keep up this journey.
And lyrics if you like to follow them: Here today Gone this afternoon Another tune we almost remember What's the story Sex and drugs again Business as usual The clock's already ticking La la la la When he was young Staring at the TV He watched the fun happening to other people Now they scream As they run after him Like a dream Like Elvis and the Beatles A three minute song is all he wrote He only did it for a joke They played him on the radio From Tokyo to Timbuktu A three minute boy, ain't that something They named their children after him The good times rolled beneath his feet He skipped along the one-way street She's a pretty girl She don't know how it started She made a movie He almost remembered She measured up They moved into a basement "We're so in love!" They giggled to the nation La la la la Three minute millionaire they said The numbers rattled round his head They spun him three times round the globe She waited patiently at home And all the pretty girls wanted him In places that he'd never been Too much love will do you in Forgive Forgive Forgive Forgive Yeah Yeah Ooo Three minute kid is here again Surrounded by three minute friends He found someone to understand To shock the world and hold his hand No religion, no restraint No direction, no complaints No future and no way out No time now to think about it All the money's gone He don't know what he spent it on Girlfriends gone off with the Jag Gone back to her mum and dad He's curled up on the studio floor He just can't do it anymore The flashgun went off without warning He'll read about it tomorrow morning She's going out with someone new In this week at number two
I'm so happy to see people discovering the awesomeness that is Marillion. I've been listening to them since the 80s, and they just keep getting better. Right up there with Pink Floyd and Yes, in my opinion. One of the best, most underrated, bands.
Loved your thoughts and words on my new fave band, though you really haven’t done any of the really great songs and you did a remix of Estonia - This is a great song I shall wait patiently for you to do some more of this band and not just nieche favorites from your loyal patroons though hats off to the guy that suggested these tracks not ones I would of chosen but extremely happy in hearing these for the first time….can you tell I’m just excited for you to start on the main course now you’ve had a taster
Brilliant, absolutely brilliant. Brought a tear to old Ragnars face. May I suggest Marillion - Neverland (Out of Season 2009). I'll buy you mead, skål!
If you are unaware, Marillion doing first ever Livestream from Hammersmith in London on Saturday Night. Link: marillionvod.uscreen.io/programs/live-ysflawljy_8?categoryId=100264 Hope you can make it and enjoy - all feedback appreciated 😀
It's a really great album Jim and The Necromancer is epic easily in my top 3 Rush songs Side 2 CV continues the prog progression too another great storyline there No One at the Bridge is a mini epic in itself you can feel the pain and desperation in Geddys voice as the sailor battles the waves
There is nothing more intoxicating than the adoration of the crowd. Steve’s solo is amazing. This is why Marillion is the best live act.
He doesn't just play the guitar, he CHANNELS it.
Super ❤

He said T because the setlist was an A to Z set with songtitles in alphabetical order.
This song, right here is what being at a Marillion Weekend feels most like...

this version still gives me the chills, great react.............signed Marillionaire!
And lyrics if you like to follow them:
Here today
Gone this afternoon
Another tune we almost remember
What's the story
Sex and drugs again
Business as usual
The clock's already ticking
La la la la
When he was young
Staring at the TV
He watched the fun happening to other people
Now they scream
As they run after him
Like a dream
Like Elvis and the Beatles
A three minute song is all he wrote
He only did it for a joke
They played him on the radio
From Tokyo to Timbuktu
A three minute boy, ain't that something
They named their children after him
The good times rolled beneath his feet
He skipped along the one-way street
She's a pretty girl
She don't know how it started
She made a movie
He almost remembered
She measured up
They moved into a basement
"We're so in love!"
They giggled to the nation
La la la la
Three minute millionaire they said
The numbers rattled round his head
They spun him three times round the globe
She waited patiently at home
And all the pretty girls wanted him
In places that he'd never been
Too much love will do you in
Forgive Forgive Forgive Forgive
Yeah Yeah Ooo
Three minute kid is here again
Surrounded by three minute friends
He found someone to understand
To shock the world and hold his hand
No religion, no restraint
No direction, no complaints
No future and no way out
No time now to think about it
All the money's gone
He don't know what he spent it on
Girlfriends gone off with the Jag
Gone back to her mum and dad
He's curled up on the studio floor
He just can't do it anymore
The flashgun went off without warning
He'll read about it tomorrow morning
She's going out with someone new
In this week at number two

Thanks for your kind words. Will be sending more Marillion in the next month. Glad you are enjoying.
Go at Royal Albert Hall for ultimate crowd participation.
I'm rather proud of that, to be honest
Oh boy, this is so much fun. Love it.
I'm curious if there is a video where Steve R. is smiling just one time.

Ain't they Amazing.....???????
Poor Americans not knowing Marillion!
Yeah, you missed the rest of it. The audience kept going
Next up: Out Of This World (live) ruclips.net/video/s9GEuFDGSYg/видео.html 😁
Its not bad, but for me it simply is missing the magic that the original Marillion with Fish had.
You're absolutely right, that's what I feel too.
