@George Dilckin I didn't say she needs to not be held accountable for her actions. You can be supportive of someone without making it conditional. It is just obvious to me that she needs some stable relationship, and a good therapist might be able to help her feel supported, unconditionally. When I say unconditionally, I mean that she doesn't have to worry about abandonment, but that doesn't preclude the other person from having boundaries or standards. Most parents love unconditionally. Most long-term relationships deepen into unconditional love. Unconditional support is necessary to build trust in some extreme cases. She is in treatment now. She is doing the work.
@George Dilckin I didn't know that. My understanding is that there is some backlog/delay on her main videos, if that's where it was posted. I don't know what the timeline(or truth for that matter!) is, but for her sake I hope she continues DBT.

This episode made me cry. I feel so bad for Trisha as an individual because when she lashes out u can always see its a defence mechanism and she doesnt really believe in any of the mean things she saying but shes already vomited all the hurtful stuff out and cant take it back right away. Love u both and im glad this was talked about
Yes, I've dated someone like this and it's really sad to watch or deal with when you're the person they're lashing out on . You're like angry and also sad bc you understand there's something deeper going on with them that you can't fix.

Another lie Trish is telling here: she says she blocked out when she was being mean to Ethan. In a previous episode she said she was actively thinking of mean things to say to hurt him. She knew how to manipulate dr drew to get him on her side.
first of all, she said she was trying to control herself and not say mean things to Ethan during the "blackout", so it shouldn't even be adressed as if it was said in a "regular", calmer state. Besides, blacking out doesn't mean you are unable to think or that you don't remember anything at all. I think she's talking about a state of anger and impulsiveness that she has a very hard time controlling, especially when someone pushes her, and she can't stop herself and things come out of her in a pretty rapid speed, that's also why she says she doesn't really remember these states and talks about it as a form of disassociation. It is very common among people with anger issues.
She contradicts herself all of the time. This whole episode was her contradicting herself and telling lies and half truths of what's happened to make her look more like a victim. I'm empathetic to people suffering with mental illness but she just has so many excuses and never actually takes responsibility for her actions.

She knows..her videos are problematic that’s why she does them. Her problematic videos gets her money and views. What she’s doing in this clip is lying. Even Ethan mentions here how her problematic videos are the most popular ones. What he was trying to get at is that she does those videos for views.
