Well, it's finally here! My Final Boss Mainstage Montage. It contains gameplay from the 2010 season with Pistola, Ogre 2, Victory X, and FearItSelf.

4:17 a perfect example of OG2 showing why he's the best Halo player of all time. Drops down to distract the flag guy so his teammate can get the kills bottom base (you can tell this was the plan because of where he fell down), then immediately runs flag to the weak side securing the cap. It's the little details that sway games. No coincidence he's the winningest player of all time.
That play was 5 years ahead of everyone else
CoD will never have this excitement

People watch CoD because Halo is no longer in MLG. Halo comes back and watch those numbers return.
I get chills whenever I watch this. FB will always be legendary.
No doubt this Final Boss was beast, but it COULD NOT beat the Final Boss of 05-06. Walshy, and the Ogre twins plus a round out from Saiyan and later Strongside.

No. You might be thinking of Neighbor who joined Ogres and Strongside for a few events in 08. That was Halo 3. Snipedown wasn't in the pro scene during Halo 2 (05-07).
Ogre 2 is the greatest of all time
Pistola really was the spark that final boss was missing once Walshy was kicked.

temporarily, yes. but i don't think it's going to get anywhere near the same amount of hype it had back in the mlg glory days. don't get me wrong though, im beyond THRILLED it's coming back to life.

there was nothing better then FB VS Carbon rivalry in 2006 and 2007 in H2!!! Way better then Instinct vs Final Boss. My opinion :)

@1chrissymc - Officially the players decide who gets how much. 100k could easily be split five ways into 20k apiece, but coaches rarely get that much.

Kids you dont even know...If you came on the scene with halo3, sorry...We love you for supporting the game, but no, you have no clue...This was our lives for years..haha sounds dumb but true, On most every MLG tourny, we'd party for 4 straight days, LAN in the hotel..SNort drugs, drink, not sleep...Was the best times of our lives...then we'd watch Final Boss and Rippin tear up the court..Can't wait for halo2 to come out on arcade
