About time for another Ed Sheeran number, this one comes from one of the Hobbit movies (we know Ed is a big fantasy fan after seeing him in Game of Thrones). However, I think Ed is privy to some higher knowledge, as the words to this could equally apply to a comet/meteorite impact upon the Earth (just like that which caused the Younger Dryas).
