As we move towards that time when Christmas singles are released, we are bringing you our version of an absolute cracker by Police Dog Hogan. It is raising money for the RNLI and is all about a crew that get a call to go out on Christmas Day. It has everything you need in Christmas song - a great sing-along chorus, bells, a brass band and that warm fuzzy glow.

Today is Bonfire night, but I could not find a suitable song so I decided to write one. I have used the tune from Miranda Lambert's Gunpowder and Lead along with some of the words from the poem by John Milton as the foundation to hang the song on. Bonfire night has been celebrated in this country for the last 419 years - long may it continue!

With Halloween approaching, it seems fitting to cover a song written for all those who (like me) feel the pull of the Moon! It was written in 1969 by Sherman Kelly and covered by both King Crimson and Eastbourne's very own Toploader. It only got to No.7 in the UK charts and only made it to No.1 in one country - Poland! I've always said they have very good musical taste! Enjoy....
