Can Maxing Soraka's Equinox Work in Lane? | Diamond Support | Patch 14.10

I'm so confused over the Imperial Mandate usage. It doesn't proc off E, unless the root goes off after the 1.5 second delay. That makes it worthless as an item for E but good with Q. IM only procs off slows and immobilizations, not silence. Seems lackluster to build around it. If you had Rylai's then the instant E would actually cause IM to proc from the slow. But alone...no. The root is easily avoided.
You'd be better off going full CDR and just using E as a spam disruption. However, Q max IM is just "Worse Nami", so that is lackluster as well

Good point! I don't want to get Rylai's for the fact it has no CDR or mana regen. Sure I could use the slow and instant proc, but I was not only playing for E when the mid-game happened. When we get out of lane, I'm trying to play Q and E.
If this was inefficient, I can understand. But, hey, I'm learning as much as everyone else is. Thank you for your feedback!

@@SupportZan I think Mandate could work if you went tank Soraka, getting her Spirit Visage and Warmog's to just boost her self healing through Q. Mandate could be a good 3rd item in a setup since you can just facecheck groups to proc it and regen extra with SV.
Always funny when the enemy team finally jumps you and you just out-regen them lol

if you're going E max first, why not go first strike as well? so that you can get that IM super fast too
