Thanks for this video. Our staircase remodel is 4 days old, and our dogs have tumbled down the stairs three times already, luckily, no injuries that we know of (you know how dogs are). I'm going to install this product.
Thanks for the video. Have you kept the mats on top of the tape throughout? Are they necessary to prevent slipping or is that more aesthetic? Do you think the tape would hold up without the mats?
Along with dog is shedding and extra dust and dirt. Does it get attracted/stuck to the material? Curious as to your impression two years after install. Thanks!
Hi, the surface is not sticky at all and it is easy to sweep and manage. it is a textured finish but it is quite non porous. It has been on my steps since I uploaded the video and it still looks like new. We said our final goodbye to Luna in December but we are leaving these in place because it is much safer for us as well.
I have always seen carpet runners attached on the inside edge of each step with a rod ! Really don't understand why so me houses have bare wood steps, not only wearing on the wood, but dangerous for people but pets!
