With the Final Shape, we got access to one of the most unique and powerful exotic interactions with the Still Hunt sniper and the Celestial Nighthawk. With this build, you can start every damage phase with 2 golden guns, have a ton of survivability, and create infinite decoys/threadlings with Threaded Specter and Combination blow.

I actually missed the golden gun and then the still hunt golden when trying to get a recording for this... 🤣
That's what I do!
I've been running the grapple, punching into a group of enemies, which will cause me to go invisible with stylish executioner, throwing the gunpowder from that aoe, detonating a group, grabbing the tangle, and throwing that into another group for another gunpowder. It's been pretty great to chain that, all the while being able to melt a boss with Prismatic, sniper & golden gun.
I just got a Celestial Nighthawk and have been looking for builds, I'm going to give this a try, thank you so much!

I've found an easier way to perhaps make the loop work a smidge better is to swap the Gunpowder Gamble out for the Stasis dodge - it lets us take advantage of some of other aspects we've chosen, as well as applies the darkness damage for our loop. I def think Gunpowder + Strand clone is the way to go for more "rounded" DPS tho.
For a safer and smarter move, I would use Shuriken in melee and in aspect I would remove Bravery and use the one that makes Radiant! As you only need to hit the enemy with melee to become radiant, it is easier to increase the damage of the weapon and super even further.
Honestly the only suggestion I have is to add in Grapple instead of the solar grenade.
It let's you get in quicker to start Melee chains and get out of sticky situations, as well as being a good utility, and with Gunpowder you're not giving up a grenade.
Though I also instead of Faucet of Hope take the health regen on Melee. It adds a little more survivability on top of the shockbox healing, and allows the Grapple Melee to give healing.
Though it does lower the amount of unravel rounds as your grenade kills come entirely from Gunpowder (unless Grapple Melee generates them as well? Not certain)
Grapple melee is considered a grenade, so it works hand in hand with gunpowder
This is something I was hoping exotic weapons would have their own supers build into the weapon this would make farming in Destiny worth going for
This looks cool, was a bit let down at the minimal survivability on prism hunter, but this makes up for it.
I’ve been running my Warlock build with getaway artist, hellion and devour aspect and it is absolutely INSANE! better survivability than solar, and so much fun 😂
Unlimited grenades, insane add clear, devour, volatile/unraveling rounds, radiant orbs, restoration orbs (when in sun singer super) etc etc etc, and transcendence up the a$$, it has it all
Can even switch devour aspect for bleakwatcher aspect and throw on buried bloodline for devour to get 3 turrets going at once, with a source of devour still. + weaken from the B.B caty
And with the void dmg bonus to weakened enemies from seasonal artifact mod.. it shreds.
any thoughts on this with the class items being out? is Celestial Nighthawk still the best option?
Completed the parting the veil for threaded spectre but i cant use it, any idea why?

This is pretty much the best way to combine everything and somehow still not lack in any area. Unfortunately dodge and punch is just too good to pass up. It’s like me trying to give up using hellions or devour on my lock.

Build seems solid, and easy to use. I will for sure use this. I appreciate the slide with all the armor items and such, can I suggest another with your goals for the stats and weapons to use with the build?
i would also use distribution in u clas item it reduses all abilety cool down when u use u class abilety near target that way u can have u supper back in a few min

void nade and weakening nade fragment add 15% debuff for more damage
Will this build work for PVP too? or is there a better build for pvp?

Question during you video for the arms you said Harmonic Dexterity but the Image mod was shown as Solar Dexterity just wondering which one ?

Same here. I was hoping this was something more fun.
You don't have to play it like a melee build. You can use weapons and gun powder gamble as the main goals. I usually use the melee as a back up incase I get into trouble.

@@RunYourLuck They should create an aspect where you can live a gun slinger fantasy and fire 7 mini golden shots (strong but not op, beat using primary by some distance, each one doing 20k plus damage) that you can recycle like Gunpowder Gamble, they should call it Mag7, short for Magnificent 7.

Eh. Honestly mactics prismatic hunter build is better. Whenever you need more boss dps you can just switch in golden gun, celestial, and still hunt, but it’s not necessary 99% of the time.

I have 98% accuracy with snipers no hacks, no Cronus. I'm in love with this sniper
Its sad hunter are, Wear Nighthalk and Punch, what people dont uderstand is that the puch sucks balls at any high level activity, always did, hope something good get cooked for those...
I’m a nightstalker main. So I prefer a stealthy and cc/debuff approach.
My favorite exotics are Orpheus rigs for lots of tether, and Omnioculus for double smoke and damage resistance while invis.
They fucked with the smoke grenade which pisses me off, it just sits there and beeps when I throw it at my feet. Still gonna use it cause it slows and weakens but still wtf. Stylish executioner is pretty nice ngl on prismatic
My favorite grenade is vortex and suppressor but they stop those too so I’m stuck using stasis nade which clashes with my build but it’s still effective
No escape artist for invis with dodge fml so I went with stasis dodge for slow, clone is nice too

Celestial nighthawk golden gun shot is not solar damage its Kinetic, so putting 1 kinetic surge on your legs will boost its damage.
The weapons super gets boosted by solar surge, and as far as I'm aware the kinetic surge got patched and no longer buffs regular golden gun
Nah, that was a bug. Goldie is solar damage
Why is everybody playing with that malee, obviously is good in easy content, no real use in harder one, stasis blade way better with stylish executioner
Why are we making melee builds with hunters

There's a reason why it's in every video. And just because you have that combo doesn't mean the playstyle is the same

They all suck in comparison to Combo Blow.
@@nullandvoid7524I’ve made all of them work well aside from smoke. Hunter genuinely has some of the best melee options hands down. Knife trick is a little less favorable with the lack of knock ‘em down, but still hits hella hard, shuriken with shroud is strong in close quarters (which I think prismatic hunter shines in anyways and it should be played close imo) threaded spike is one of the highest uptime melees in the game and was damn near 1-hitting every red bar in a room on day 1 Salvation 1st encounter, plus the easy sever and it seriously can fill dark prismatic in one good throw. Combination is just a stale loop but still works well, and smoke is optimal for dps for weakening, though generally I prefer other options for general use
