Then, later on, Eddie would get a taste of Bobby's arbitrary favoritism when he felt that Eddie needed to work through his issues before coming back to the 118. Thing is, Buck's lawyer was sleazy, but he made some *great* points. Like how quickly Bobby allowed Chimney to return to duty after *having a rebar driven through his brain!* Reminder: Chimney is a paramedic. So a guy who had a hole punched through his *brain* was cleared by Bobby for duty within a month. Since when was Bobby a neurologist? Never! But he felt fine making the medical judgment call that Chim wouldn't suffer any aftereffects and was safe to provide emergency medical care in the field.
I really don't like to watch this scene, cause they portray Evan Buckley as a fool, a selfish fool. But there is so mo much beneath his skin, so much hurt, he wants noone to see. This scene just shows, how he tries to vocalize some of the heavyness inside his soul, but the way it is acted, it just leads viewers to musunderstand Buck's critical, mental condition.
I think this scene doesn't really portray him as a fool. Rather, it makes him realize how his actions are bound to influence others' lives and how much people would miss him instead of resent him (Eddie who couldn't reach out to him). So I think it makes sense and it shows how much they all care for each other.
@@OtterFederationClub They never show him that he is irreplacable. While they need to show him that his actions are impulsive and hurt them without his purpose, I am really angry with them for never stand on Evans sight when it counts. They all know "Buck" all to well, but noone of theme knows Evan. Not even Maddie, his own sister!
@@saraoverkamping8143 But there's one thing that is missing: help doesn't come to you if you escape from it. When Bobby said to him that he wanted him to take his time to heal and be actually ready to return, Buck just thought about his anger and pain and didn't see how Bobby was concerned and worried about him. Bobby himself said that Buck had them to rely on. But Buck was the first to doubt about that, so it became really difficult to reach out to him, because as much as they wanted to help him, the help they could offer could also hurt him more: being truthful, avoiding giving false hopes while trying to comfort him. But Buck needed certainties and they couldn't give him those. That wouldn't be easy for anyone. Then he filed the lawsuit and they couldn't be there for him anymore. Eddie took five seasons, too, to reveal his real problems (his PTSD). But he didn't ask for help because he was so focused on hiding them that eventually they became a crux. Help isn't granted just because you're in a difficult moment: it comes if you're willing to accept it and to accept your reality. If not, people won't know how much they're helping you or hurting you. I can say this for sure because I, too, went through something like this.
Also, allowing him to return to the unit wasn't possible at that moment, because firefighters' priority is to save people and be careful to not get seriously hurt themselves. If they allowed him in the unit before being certain he wouldn't have a relapse, they could have endangered his and their lives, not mentioning the lives of the victims.

Eddie would not have bottled his feelings inside and land in the boxing ring. Talking freely to each other would have prevented so much! You are not lying Eddie said you know How much Christopher missing you I couldn’t you to bell me out of jail Eddie the one who really missing Buck he was mad
I love how he is mad that he couldn't talk to buck and couldn't call buck to get him out of jail
Oh how the writers lover to tease us with these two. That was a classic lovers argument and they wrote it as such.
I thing when Eddie says how much Christopher missed you he was talking about himself not Christopher
Is there anybody else felt like that
I think it is about Christopher and Eddie, they both need Buck
Yeah Eddie's in love with Buck and miss Buck and Christopher missed his 2nd dad but Eddie said that to protect himself
