So called "Entrepreneurs" didn't even know of course they may take some even if they fail they had an alternative source of income but the farmers don't have such kind of alternatives and that is their life. Before passing comments it's better to check the reality like who is going to suffer, maybe you are selling your chicken in an Air Conditioned and odorless posh store by hiking the prices to 30-40% more than your production cost maybe. One last thing selling country chickens on the road side was not the wrong thing, if you know how to identify the original country chicken then you can buy it anywhere.

That is not feed consumption ratio It’s feed conversion ratio I.e FCR. You don’t even know how much research n science involved in poultry industry. It’s combined effort of geneticists and nutritionist which make birds grow faster. No farmer uses steroids or growth hormones for faster growth rate, because the hormones are very costlier. If Growth hormones are cheaper there wouldn’t be any short persons on the earth. I don’t know how these people talk publicly very confidently without knowing facts. Sure some broiler farmer will sue you legally the So called ENTREPRENEUR.
