Hi Joanne! I just received my Hip Kit Club package of goodies this week as well! I absolutely laughed out loud when you got to that beautiful floral piece of paper and said you were going to fussy cut them out as I already did that the night my package arrived! Great minds, eh? Just joined your channel by finding the organization hop videos! I have a dream box and struggle to make it totally effective and pretty!! I love seeing how you organize yours. Can you tell me if the flowers you made for the narrow drawers are a silhouette file? Also, when you put ephemera on your 13x13 drawers what do you attach it with when you use the collection and want to change it out? Thanks for all the tips, really excited to find your channel!
Hi Shelley! Thanks so much for joining my channel. So glad to have you here! I changed my box a million times before I got it where I wanted it, so don't worry. Those flowers were a cut file from Paige Evans. You can find in the Silhouette store. I just use ATG or foam squares to adhere to the drawers. You are very welcome.
Hi! I have a question regarding the shimmer paint. Is it opaque or translucent? Would it be good to use as a paint on stamped images? Thx!
Hi Cheryl. Thank you for your question. Shimmerz Paint can be both. You can put a light layer on, or build on the layers to make them darker. You can also use them as they come, or water them down with water to make them lighter. It would be good to use on a stamped image if you were going for a water color effect, but they would not stamp super clear like ink. However, stamping over the paint, as I did, is absolutely gorgeous. Please do let me know if you have any more questions. I am happy to help. The paints are fantastic to paint images from a stamped image though. They work very well to paint anything with a brush.
