The love between them wasn’t forced and thrown in the viewers face. It was built on throughout the show. That’s why its so damn good. The subtle dialogue from yeo-jeong expressing his feelings/loyalty and the cold non responsive reactions from dong-eun. That’s how it started. Dong-eun never had anyone on her side and no one that ever truly loved and cared for her. So accepting the love and care took time especially to realize it was genuine. Yeo-jeong knew that and never forced the issue only stayed by her side no matter the situation. The dialogue and screen play between them was masterful. That’s why that one kiss they had was such a rewarding pay off for the viewers. That one kiss meant the love was reciprocated. Two people who when they met were both broken beyond repair. But with the company of each other in their misery they both began to heal each other. They were both in despair and then they became each others glory. Both of their missing 1%.I could write an essay on my appreciation of this love story. I’ll stop here. The Glory. What a show. Just wanted to say I appreciate the nice comments and also your POV’s on the love story/ drama! Having a dialogue and people sharing their thoughts is why I love expressing my personal thoughts!

I actually more celebrate when I saw dong eun put her mom in mental institution than when I saw Yeon jin in jail. I found strange pleasure in seeing Dong Eun making Yeung Jin's mom sell out her own daughter Yeung Jin. With the school tag, that had no value as evidence. And allowing Yeung Jin to see it firsthand. As Yeung Jin consistently reminded Dong Eun of her mother abandoning, and selling her out for money. Yeung Jin thought her mom would always be there, and this gave her a sense of superiority over Dong Eun whose mother was not. Dong Eun shattered Yeung Jin's fantasy. What A psychological triumph!

This has to be the best drama I’ve seen in a long time. The acting by all these actors was just awesome! I felt myself getting anxious on some of the scenes that I had to pause it for a minute. I didn’t want this series to end.

I absolutely hated her mother in this show. I grew to love her relationship with Yeo-jung because at first I wanted her more with Doyeong. But after, i realized that there’s a big difference between attraction and love (sacrifice). What Yeo-Jung felt for her was love and Do-yeong was attracted to her. I guess this show spelt it out for me. At the end of the show, I guess it dawned on my that you probably should be with someone who can sacrifice all for you, than someone who you just look good with or is attracted to you.
Song Hye Kyo rocks with her role in The Glory. She's mesmerizing with her vengeance and her pain and hurt. Lim Ji Yeon also shines as the main bully and both lead actresses are outstanding and deserve awards for The Glory which has the Netflix audience gripping in terror in each episode. Perhaps there could be a little more romance at the end to show the closeness of SHK and the young doctor. They're partners in crime and should share special moments together with more affectionate display at the end.

I just finished this drama and I couldn't ask for any better ending than that....This drama has made me cry so hard and at the same time, my heart was full of love when I was watching how day by day their relationship kept growing and how they got revenge for each other.....At the last episode, they said that they love each other.... Honestly speaking, from the very beginning their actions were saying that how much they love and care for each other....I really couldn't ask for anything better than this...I loved the whole drama and I think I am gonna rewatch it💜💜💜💜

Yes, Her recent dramas were not too popular because she's always paired with a much younger actor in romance genre and people might get tired with such a pairing so The Glory exposes her best acting skills and emotions. The storyline allows her to fall for this young doctor who became her partner in crime so it's fine for the pairing here. I hope she'll do more thrillers and pair with actors close to her age, like Song Seung Hyun again, from Autumn in my heart or even Gong Yoo and Lee Dong Wok.
I just finished this last night and have to say I throughly enjoyed it she was brilliant in it in fact all the actors nailed it for me but my favourite was the the older lady she had working for her as an undercover agent with the abusive husband she played her part amazing yet she broke my heart 😢 with what she went through.
In part 1, I really don't like their story. I mean, the romance kinda rushed and I like Dongeun with Ha Doyeong more lmao but yep, I changed my mind when I watch part 2. Their story, their connection and their romance finally make sense. I love their love story. I love this whole executioner thing. They need each other. Finally I understand why he fell for her, and why she fell for him.
I almost cried.😭 I put my hand on my chest. I was genuinely scared about her killing herself. I know there were theories about it but I genuinely did not want it to come true.😭
I watched in shock at that scene. Half of me thought, 'Well, it's a Korean drama, what do you expect?' I knew the writer's previous project, 'Mr. Sunshine,' where she killed off all three main leads 🫠, so I was pretty sure she would make the character jump and die. Thank God the writer made a different decision this time ☺️

Even though they're very different, in a way, Yeojeong reminds me of Waymond from EEAAO, and how Evelyn says "the universe gave me someone kind, loving, and patient" when talking about him to her dad. He really completes Dongeun not only by helping her get her revenge and justice, but by loving her and giving her all the happiness she'd been denied her whole life. His love ultimately makes her decide to change the ending of her plan, because with him, she finally felt like there was something more to her life than just vengeance and pain, they had each other's love, and she realized she wanted to live again for that love.
My sister told me that the ending is actually showing that they both chose to put themselves in prison after all the revenge ... How symbolic is that scene. Love the revenge couple...the 99%-1% couple. After all the torments Moon Dongeun went through how can someone of rational mind be talking about sexual tension. I see her relationship with Yeojeong is more than a romantic relationship. It's soulmate and they are each other life long company ~
NO wtf they didn't put themselves in prison lol that is a dumb conclusion. They got jobs there to FINISH the job of killing the psychopath killer SLOWLY. Once their job is done, they leave. This is just their NEXT revenge agenda.

Glory is about redemption not revenge. The world is as it should be. Bullies should pay and victims should be free and live freely. They should be able to move on with justice. It's not about forgiveness either but putting everything in place. Not forgotten but served them right attitude. This has been a very disturbing series but a healing one as well. She did not became a murderer herself, thus she had a happy ending for she became a seeker of justice and that is why her revenge is Glorious. She did not became a monster herself. Happy for Hye Kyo, she is born for this role. Great cast, overall, splendid! 💕 🎊👏

I haven't watched this Drama yet (but you can bet it's on my list). However, from the clips and edits I have seen so far. I like how the MC isn't an emotionless Killer out for revenge. She is emotionally numb from all the pain and torment in her childhood. But she is still capable of having feelings such as sadness, anger and love. And I really like that about her. She is still human and it seems the series really highlights that. Her drive, actions, motivations, emotions and relationships are human. Just because a lot of her dignitiy and humanity has been taken from her doesn't mean she isn't a human anymore.

Dark roles, suit her better now, also because of her age, it gives her an aura of more maturity.

I watched in shock at that scene. Half of me thought, 'Well, it's a Korean drama, what do you expect?'
I knew the writer's previous project, 'Mr. Sunshine,' where she killed off all three main leads 🫠, so I was pretty sure she would make the character jump and die.
Thank God the writer made a different decision this time ☺️

Even though they're very different, in a way, Yeojeong reminds me of Waymond from EEAAO, and how Evelyn says "the universe gave me someone kind, loving, and patient" when talking about him to her dad. He really completes Dongeun not only by helping her get her revenge and justice, but by loving her and giving her all the happiness she'd been denied her whole life. His love ultimately makes her decide to change the ending of her plan, because with him, she finally felt like there was something more to her life than just vengeance and pain, they had each other's love, and she realized she wanted to live again for that love.
Might forget everyone from #theglory but "yeonjin-ah" will forever haunt my ears

My sister told me that the ending is actually showing that they both chose to put themselves in prison after all the revenge ... How symbolic is that scene. Love the revenge couple...the 99%-1% couple. After all the torments Moon Dongeun went through how can someone of rational mind be talking about sexual tension. I see her relationship with Yeojeong is more than a romantic relationship. It's soulmate and they are each other life long company ~

NO wtf they didn't put themselves in prison lol that is a dumb conclusion. They got jobs there to FINISH the job of killing the psychopath killer SLOWLY. Once their job is done, they leave. This is just their NEXT revenge agenda.

Glory is about redemption not revenge. The world is as it should be. Bullies should pay and victims should be free and live freely. They should be able to move on with justice. It's not about forgiveness either but putting everything in place. Not forgotten but served them right attitude.
This has been a very disturbing series but a healing one as well. She did not became a murderer herself, thus she had a happy ending for she became a seeker of justice and that is why her revenge is Glorious. She did not became a monster herself.
Happy for Hye Kyo, she is born for this role. Great cast, overall, splendid! 💕 🎊👏

Wow! You nailed it all in one shot. You edited the pace and rhythm magnificently which enhanced the emotion. Letting their dialogue shine while still working in tandem with the music choice to tell the story was nicely done. I haven't watched this Drama yet (but you can bet it's on my list). However, from the clips and edits I have seen so far. I like how the MC isn't an emotionless Killer out for revenge. She is emotionally numb from all the pain and torment in her childhood. But she is still capable of having feelings such as sadness, anger and love.
And I really like that about her. She is still human and it seems the series really highlights that. Her drive, actions, motivations, emotions and relationships are human. Just because a lot of her dignitiy and humanity has been taken from her doesn't mean she isn't a human anymore.
