I quit the game last week, its a shame because even if the game gets better in the future ill be so far behind on cards it wont be worth getting back into.
I think Snap is a fun game to play casually. When I try to grind ladder or conquest, I always end up quitting because it feels like a chore and the rng can be downright infuriating. I totally understand why you’re taking a break man. Just like Mogwai, it’s sad to see you go. I’ll definitely check out your other channels.
Tell me about it, I reached rank 59 almost 60, but the rng keeps screwing me a few games in a row where I am deranked to 57 three times. I was so missed and call it a day.
I’m at CL 16K and i understand completely. I’ve been in the 90’s for 4 days. Every time I encounter a deck, is always a deck that will push me back. I’ve retreated 6 times in a row because of these decks. I’ve hit infinite 3 times in a row after getting my sheet together, but the more I’m learning, the more I realize, there’s no skill. It’s all RNG.
I started playing day one of global release and I have hit infinite many times but I don’t get it every season because I’ll have the exact same problems. I’ll get stuck waffling in the 90’s for days and lose all drive to push for it because I just start getting pooped on by rng turbo or just getting bricked hands left and right. This season I climbed from reset in the 60’s to the 90’s using Arishem but then it was a lot of mirrors and they just kept getting Quinjet, card generator, Loki. Over and over. I consider myself a good player, not the best no, but good. But it doesn’t matter how good you are if you are getting dumped on left and right you cannot climb. The smart retreats don’t outweigh the wins when they are also smart retreating. And people are always like oh I hate bots, I’m like give me all the bots so I can hit infinite and then the real people games begin, I can experiment decks, and I don’t care about post-infinite rank. It’s just more fun. And with how the bots have been changed in the 90’s I never see any. Whatever the MMR requirements are for bots in the 90’s I don’t qualify so I never see any. Makes the 90’s such an annoying slog fest. I’m sure people will crap on me for wanting bots but I like my people games in post-infinite, I don’t care.
They keep printing cards that just devolve the meta into small monkey brain form. Loki always drains all the fun I have for any match, Arishem feels unfair and always the the most perfect answers generated, like I swear the amount of times I lose to just some ridiculous card that was generated that just so happens to perfectly shut me down is silly and locations that need to be filled fast they usually take by turn 3 thanks to akl the extra energy, or they draw quintet on turn 1 and then it's really fair playing against a deck whose cards cost 1 less and also has 1 extra energy. Then there are the clog decks, which I know haven't been as powerful but are so unfun to face. Idk it just feels like so many decks right now and for a while have always been the most unfun decks to play against and it's not even about winning or los8ng at that point, it's just the cards genuinely unmotivated me to play some games. Currently have 8vkeys saved up, because so many of the cards, although strong haven't really been fun and since the game discourages me fron spending my resources because they are so slow to get all I can do is skip week after week until another actually fun card comes out.
Romek!!! I miss your content bro, the meta is relatively healthy now! The top-performing decks now need actual brains to play like Move or Bounce. Hela and Junk are both nerfed, Loki is unplayable, and old staples like Destroy/Discard are in an okay spot. If you’re ever returning, maybe now’s the meta.
Hey Romek, just wanted to let you know that I’ve been off it for about 5 months now. Welcome to the club! I believe ur creativity and talent will shine in whatever u decide to pursue next. Keep creating and inspiring!
I’m so glad you kept it real about Arishem. They should’ve made his card a prize at the end of a competitive event, not a card you can get with tokens. I don’t believe Arishem would feel this oppressive if fewer players had him. But since so many players run Arishem right now, +1 energy makes playing anything other than Arishem feel really bad. Like REALLY bad. You’re virtually always 1 turn behind your opponent if you’re not running Arishem.
Ma boi, I’ve partially quitted snap for the same reasons as you. I love your content and would love to watch you on other TCGs like hearthstone bc you’re a great content creator, don’t let a bad game take that away from you.
I uninstalled it like a week before, one time i was 3 hours playing against only Wong decks, so I put in my deck Cosmo and Enchantress and I never saw a wong deck again, or the fact I almost never win a 50/50, or that when I can buy a card it is nerfed, just made me crazy. But I am struggling with the lack of dopamine tho, I hate this gacha game.
The thing that really sucks the fun too is the card acquisition, spotlight keys should never produce duplicates but it does. You are punished for having a higher CL.
1 min into the video and I already agree with 100% of what you’re saying. Also wanna add : this community is full of copian and can’t handle criticism. Content creators have made them believe SD shouldn’t be criticized
@@mindpwntrol Well I hope Romek takes this time to catch himself as I did enjoy watching his Snap vids. I think another problem is content creators in the Snap space are quick to quit when the meta or state of the game doesn’t look good instead of just taking a necessary break and reevaluate
I wanted to quit at the beginning of the year, but waited some time, trying to keep playing casually and for free. But seeing you quit gave me the last reason I was needing to quit. Thanks, take care and hope you find something better to provide content.
I'm right there with you. I stopped playing for a few months, then came back for a while, but I'm ready to quit again. As you said, the game just isn't fun anymore
I too fell off the wagon this month. There was no particular reason but I simply haven't felt the desire to do my daily missions anymore, let alone spend money on it. Unfortunately times where the game feels fun are becoming few and far between. Thanks for articulating how most of the playerbase feels now.
On the other side of the spectrum. Lower ranks is just filled with complete randomness because Shang exists to make certain cards from going too high in power. Shang allows all these move/bounce/clog/etc to exist so that everyone has a chance to win. 2nd dinner wants anyone who picks up this game to beat anyone else in the game regardless of skill/deck level. As much as everyone in high infinite wants to say it his game is competitive, it's a party game. What's terrible is that game hasn't forced everyone to be in the same matching pool. Once you complete pool 3, the skill/deck gap level is so much greater between players than any other group.
I remember when it was like 7 of the last 9 cards they’d released directly benefited tier 0 Thanos. They don’t release enough new shit and only pump out support cards for existing meta decks. Makes the game feel real stale
I've had this thought for a while. Being at the top of the ladder comes with one major downside. ITS NOT FUN ANYMORE. My guy if you were chilling with me around ~60,000 you wouldn't want to claw your eyes out all the time. I'm not telling you to start throwing games, just to not take it so seriously. I normally log on once a day to complete dailies. If I played enough to grind to the top of the leaderboard like you I guarantee id be angry at the world as well. But I want the game to remain fun so I don't play that much I know you have other legitimate criticisms that can't be solved by playing less. But things like monetization will never change and will in fact slowly get worse. Not doubt about that. If that's a deal breaker I wouldn't even say stuff like "I am quitting for now" I would just walk away for good. I have enjoyed your content Romek. On and off. Your salty attitude entertained me. But after a while it started to wear off on me so I had to step away from watching. Was turning me into a Grinch like you lol. I know you are a good person though so I wish you the best in life. Cheers
Living Tribunal is fun to navigate. Final rank : 265! Way to go! Even posting you getting your dailies completed is fine content. Thank you for all that you've shared so far.
Bro, you were the last fun thing about this game. Meta has been so trash just Arishem blob loki leech nonsesne, and when you arent facing those decks you are facing a bunch of dark hawk decks shuffling 10000 rocks into your deck. Idk why I still subject myself to this torture bro.
I can admit i haven't had very much fun lately. Getting duplicates constantly in spotlight caches is such bs and the conpensation for it is bs too. When i dont have fun with a specific deck i switch it up and then the horriblw matchmaking ensures i play mirror matches and decks that directly counter my deck. Arishem is just horrible for the meta. Its a deck with an answer to everysingle deck in the game. You literally play tech cards, loki, and card gen cards and abuse the extra energy you are granted. Auto decks generation is useless since arishem. You cant create anyrhing without the same cards being splashed in since the algorithm goes based off what is getting played in game most with specific cards. And since arishem generates alot of bs it throws of auto deck generation.....
Was feeling rlly burnt out abt the game till Arishem came out basically making a whole new archetype in snap which I enjoyed and what made this new archetype great is that most times it did not rlly matter how random the cards are cus the ramp is worth it and the deadpool event is coming soon so that's another thing that's keeping my interest in this game
I feel what you’re saying, I quit as well and came back recently but still feels the same. Actually got into magic the gathering during that time but as much as I like marvel snap I can agree with what you’re saying.
It was a nice ride, Romek. And I’m very grateful for your content and the charisma you brought till the table) Subscribed to your other channels. What can I say in that situation… I guess… See you later, alligator 🐊
Game used to be fun with majority of decks being combo/synergy decks. Nowadays it's just put alot of high value cards together with tech cards and u win. Game became so disruptive, oppressive, counterplay focused... Everything else about the game was always bad: progression system, monetization, card acquisition, FOMO etc. the only saving grace this game had was that the gameplay itself was always fun, nowadays even that is not true. I just came back to the game and i can already feel there will soon be a point where i won't be able to bring myself to complete the dailies. Been quitting and returning to the game multiple times already, the only deck i could play every time was Destroy, after all the new tech cards and powercreep, even Destroy is barely playable... I remember i had a complete version of old discard with old Chavez, but then they artificially ruined the deck on purpose just to release new Series 5 discard cards...
It's always been so RNG weighted. It's not a competitive game. Locations like Zemo's Castle made that clear to me. Someone passed me a havok on turn 2 and I laughed. As soon as it becomes too serious I can't take it seriously.
I feel you on the state of the game. I have faith in them adding new things like the upcoming deadpools dinner and alliances. I'm really pulling for alliances to be transformative.
I've watched YuGiOh anime when I was a child. Played a little bit of it back then. I subscribed to your YuGiOh because I want to try the video game. Appreciate if you make a video there helping people getting into the game.
Im glad you were honest. I watch other content creators and constantly feel crazy for not enjoying myself. I buy new cards and never feel good anymore :/
I am so sorry to watch this. I hope you feel better. Loved your vids and your rages/complaints. Take care! This game sucks a lot and you were one of the highlights of playing it. Thank you!
A pitty to hear that but I understand it, I quit 1 month ago because all I did was playing until Infinite and then some quest... I have the game yet installed in the phone, waiting for some radical change to motivate me tu come back. Keep doing content and think about how to add the Goblin voice in the other content xDD
I just started playing the game myself 😅 Sad to see I started when its at such a sorry state. Might not even bother investing more time into it. It was a fun 2 days though
yeah I'm quitting too. made infinite. beat infinite conquest. maxed the diner. I beat the game. why grind from here? what's next? nothing but the same. onto new things!
I took a break but I think I won't come back since Ive been playing Magic The Gathering and having WAAAYY MORE fun than I am in snap. I live deck building and Snap is way too simple in terms of making decks because there is no creativity whatsoever. Can't stand majority of shit that happens in this game
A sound decision brother! You always managed to get me back into the game with your awesome videos, but the whole monetization shit in the last half a year turned snap into an abusive relationship 😂, never stop what you are doing! Looking forward to more Romek!
I just recently did that same with overwatch. Developers are being super greedy and forgetting about what drew people in, fun! You hit this right on the money. Looking forward to more content on your other channels
It all makes sense to me. I’m close. Last season I hit infinite in two days. This season every single opponent has the right cards to counter my deck. I am 69 so far 😐
Ive never been more tilted with Arishem. Its honestly the most annoying fooking card since launch. Early plays, random nonsense on top of RNG Meta is a mess
No if you play Master Duel or Duel Links it’s a cash grab still. New cards come out monthly and you have to pay quite abit if you want URs and SRs and you have to keep up with the meta
as an old yugioh player, the real life game is in a disgusting state, its just money money money, as for master duel and duel links, the games are fun, but it demands alot and you need to get the best cards and keep up with everyone, hope this helped!
If you’re playing the physical version it’s super expensive as all card games are. Also Yugioh is complicated as hell. It’s absolutely nothing like marvel snap.
@professorprofessorson4831 lmao duel links is a mess now. Been playing since 2017 and the skills are just so broken it's annoying. Like you can summon blue eyes white dragon with ZERO tributes 😂😅
There needs to be incentives for moving up after infinite AND we desperately need more weekly prizes for new players. The gap between new and old players is INSANE. Most games offer incentives and this game just doesn't.
Tbf when a card as bad as hydro bob comes out you should grab it based on it will get buffed. The game needs to cut a lot of old locations and give us more turns. Give us 8 turns and make magick create 9 for example. I’d say at least 8-10 turns.
The game is more frustrating then fun. I started a new free account and after level 20 forget about it. The game would completely change if players only played against people with the same cards. I am currently level 43 and I am playing against Arishem players so all I do is retreat, it's really not fair or fun.
I quit my snap life a little over a month ago and ill hop on maybe once a week now and I'm so much happier ill make a random deck and just mess around on ladder, surprised this video got recommended to me I haven't watched a snap video in a minute haha gl romek
I still like the game and have some fun playing it, but I totally agree the way SD seems to make money. Those bundles are hilarious how expensive they are. I mean its just a bunch of digital crap and you have to pay big for it. Its just insane…no words for it. I never bought it and never gonna do it. Only season pass for me…its some kind of value if you can speak of value at all.
Snap is like an ex we should've left a long time ago instead of wasting more money, time or distress. When a game becomes 75% or more of a "I wish the devs would've done this, I can't believe the devs aren't doing that, why isn't there a [mode/gameplay change], etc." thing that keeps repeating in our heads every other day or week it's time to go.
I'll miss you and your content, but I totally get it. The game has been so frustrating for numerous reasons. I was sticking out this season to see how it went after last season was my worst yet, and it hasn't gotten much better. The cards are a pain in the ass to obtain, all the new ones are series 5 now. Series 5 used to mean GOOD cards and big bads. Now, everything is just Series 5 because money reasons. Additionally, apparently I have the worst freaking luck ever. I'll try to play something off-meta and never get what I need. If I play someone playing one of the popular overplayed decks as you mentioned, they perfectly pull whatever they need. I swear this shit is intentional. If I play on-meta, I do better. Crazy? Maybe, but it's my experience.
I think you're pretty competitive, I'm a casual player and for me snap is still very fun, I hit infinite always almost at the end of the season, when youre already in infinite yes it's. Kinda boring
Going to Yugioh in Tier 0 Snake-eyes format with the new release of Yubel support and Typhon and Horus Stun enjoy that mess its like smacking a bee hive then going to punch a bear
SD had been doing below minimum effort, choosing to cater to whales 🐳 🐋🐳 Sad truth is most mobile gamers don't follow updates or metas so like any other mobile game they're hoping to catch the 1% to keep coasting business as usual
yeh i quit when i was spending money on the game and they still wanted more while some ppl didnt care to spend that money. also some of the album was a wake up call. conquest could have been done better but ppl that play all the time say its fine. and i thought marvel snap was a casual game, i would have to play 6hrs a day everyday to keep up as a low spender and even 6hrs is low to some of these ppl. i also dont like the overpowered card comes out, u waste ur keys on it and then it gets nerfed.
One thing I REALLY hate about SD is how they keep not letting me play Snap as an essentially pve game So I'm starting to lose interest myself, lol I didn't play at all last week and I'm already starting this week off unenthused
You do realize that you are not forced to buy every card. Obviously if you want to be a completionist you have to pay in any game. But you can get cards for free, and the paid stuff is just cosmetic. But hey, if you don't like the monetization, it's great you stopped playing. To each his own, I don't spend on anything aside from the battlepass, unless it's a variant I really like. But it's not like they are forcing you in any way to get any card. I miss around 7 cards or so and I am fine with that, because those are cards I would rarely/never use anyway.
@@smartpatrick8690let’s not act this game isn’t pay to win- because it very much is. Battlepass cards automatically make the game pay to win, and you can’t get the card for free- till many months later. Tokens exist but ftp players barely get any.
I quit the game last week, its a shame because even if the game gets better in the future ill be so far behind on cards it wont be worth getting back into.

From what I understand, Deadpool event is just reskkined conquest and changed cubes. Nothing new
I've watched YuGiOh anime when I was a child.
Love you too Romek, have a nice break / retirement. Thanks for inspiring me to become a host for the Phoenix force ❤
Bye romek. Hope you come back soon man 😞
I just started playing the game myself 😅
Sad to see I started when its at such a sorry state. Might not even bother investing more time into it. It was a fun 2 days though
yeah I'm quitting too. made infinite. beat infinite conquest. maxed the diner. I beat the game. why grind from here? what's next? nothing but the same. onto new things!
Romek come to pokemon tcgp bro id love to watch you again
I followed you for your humour, I'll follow on the other channels as long as you are having fun! 💪
I took a break but I think I won't come back since Ive been playing Magic The Gathering and having WAAAYY MORE fun than I am in snap. I live deck building and Snap is way too simple in terms of making decks because there is no creativity whatsoever. Can't stand majority of shit that happens in this game
I wish they could balance things out where certain archetypes work better against some other archetypes. Anyway.. Thanks for everything, Romek!
A sound decision brother! You always managed to get me back into the game with your awesome videos, but the whole monetization shit in the last half a year turned snap into an abusive relationship 😂, never stop what you are doing! Looking forward to more Romek!
He's Yugi!!!! We'll miss you bro, good luck
Haven't touched a yu-gi-oh card since 2002. Subscribing to the channel.
Ive never been more tilted with Arishem. Its honestly the most annoying fooking card since launch. Early plays, random nonsense on top of RNG
Meta is a mess
Romek is yugioh good for completely new player? Want to start getting into it but I’m not sure it would be a great experience
Until I know, Yu Gi Oh isnt suited for new players, as the state the game demands a lot of invest
I’ve been playing verrrryyyy little … probably will join you soon.
The game is more frustrating then fun. I started a new free account and after level 20 forget about it. The game would completely change if players only played against people with the same cards. I am currently level 43 and I am playing against Arishem players so all I do is retreat, it's really not fair or fun.
I was feeling like quitting but arishem brought me back and in having fun again
Sad to see you go. Thank you for the great content.
:( sucks to see you go man. I’ll be following you elsewhere in the mean time we like having you as a creator.
I quit the game last week too. As Romek said the game its not FUN anymore.
Thanks for all the awesome videos you have put out!! You are a real one
12 cards, 6 turn, the sole interaction is to play a card into a location.
In fact the game is amazing, but the basic premise have its limits.
I think you're pretty competitive, I'm a casual player and for me snap is still very fun, I hit infinite always almost at the end of the season, when youre already in infinite yes it's. Kinda boring
💔 what Shame seen it coming for months tho! Take care dawg 🤜🏽💥🤛🏻
where did romek go! :(
Man, I felt this. Respect
I like how discarding “random” cards always discards Hela. It’s fun.
Totally agree, maybe im just do daily quest and that is for this game. Didn't buy season pass for half a year 😂
I will not spend another dime until your back
Going to Yugioh in Tier 0 Snake-eyes format with the new release of Yubel support and Typhon and Horus Stun enjoy that mess its like smacking a bee hive then going to punch a bear
You can make this channel your main and upload different content to grow this channel even more mate. Some of us will still watch.
Respect I'll miss watching your content, I don't play yugo or hearthstone maybe I'll watch a game here and there
Bro all be all for it if you start making yugioh Content, I've been getting worn out with too Snap too recently
yeah you bet i hated this game at the time arishem release. They just spam it every single game
Hope you keep making content Romek. If you need suggestions maybe some Dragon ball fusion worlds, it has digital client.
I wish I saw romek respond to the new event and cards it's such a clusterf*
SD had been doing below minimum effort, choosing to cater to whales 🐳 🐋🐳
Sad truth is most mobile gamers don't follow updates or metas so like any other mobile game they're hoping to catch the 1% to keep coasting business as usual
yeh i quit when i was spending money on the game and they still wanted more while some ppl didnt care to spend that money. also some of the album was a wake up call. conquest could have been done better but ppl that play all the time say its fine. and i thought marvel snap was a casual game, i would have to play 6hrs a day everyday to keep up as a low spender and even 6hrs is low to some of these ppl. i also dont like the overpowered card comes out, u waste ur keys on it and then it gets nerfed.
This sucks bro you were awesome SD really needs to get it together they are loosing great content creators and players because of greed.
Thanos is dead, lockdown is dead, clog is dead, and now ARIshem and Loki are dead, all the things you hated are gone, it's time to come back
Arishem Loki are not dead
I drop snap recently as well. Bots everywhere, monetisation is horrible, and same deck every time.
downloaded the yugioh games today because of you bro
Competitive Mario party I felt that
One thing I REALLY hate about SD is how they keep not letting me play Snap as an essentially pve game So I'm starting to lose interest myself, lol I didn't play at all last week and I'm already starting this week off unenthused
Maybe Gwenpool can support the Patriot.
The game turned out to be absolute lame dogshit bro left the ship before it sank 🤣🤣
Absolute pain seeing this.
Your deck's were top notch!
Will definitely miss you!!
Yeah, I think he is acting like the game is pay to win or something
@@smartpatrick8690let’s not act this game isn’t pay to win- because it very much is. Battlepass cards automatically make the game pay to win, and you can’t get the card for free- till many months later. Tokens exist but ftp players barely get any.
