- A royal expert has told the Sun's Royal Exclusive show that Prince Harry and Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle need to totally reinvent themselves to win back fans in the UK.
Jack Royston, Newsweek's Chief Royal Correspondent told Sun Royal Editor Matt Wilkinson that despite a boost in the popularity polls for Meghan in the US, in the UK her and Prince Harry have a long way to go to win back the affection of the public.

Royston, you're cheering for the wrong side. Many people risking their lives to serve their country, not only Harry. William is heir to the throne and deserves this prestigious role. Charles and William both would have honorably served front line had they been allowed, but they were PROHIBITED. Harry is gone, stop talking about him. For God's sake, King Charles is going through cancer treatment, so many of his engagements are being put together quickly based on his health. We know you are anti-monarchy, but the Monarchy is constitutional to the UK. More people need to be respectful of the institution and I think they do a phenomenal job and I'm not even British.

Do they want to serve under so e here-today-gone-tomorrow politician who is only interested in his career? The Royal Family and the military share the same attitude to service and duty. They know that the RF appreciate them and will always be there to support them. Even disgraced Andrew flew during the Falklands war in battle and flew his helicopter close to the Sir Galahad to blow smoke away from rescuers who were helping stricken soldiers on the ship.

Hold on here - get your facts straight - Harry did not tell the truth again (are we surprised). Harry issues the statement that the King was too busy to see him - this is not true. Harold left it quite late and in the air as usual for a time. Megs sat in the Windsor room at the airport for a whole day instead of joining Harry and the vets. - The palace made it clear that the King offered Harold a place to stay which Harry refused - Harold also wanted to see his father to enquire if he could send a message to Nigeria from the palace. This would validate royal connection to the tour - the king wasn’t doing that. The Palace did come out and say this was not a royal tour. Harry likes to play victim. Be a journalist get the full story.
But the truth wouldn't suit Harry's "poor me" narrative. I'm beginning to think that this Royston is one of the paid squaddies.

He was in Afghanistan for 10 weeks not a year. He was in the Army but unable to advance ss he couldn't pass tests for a promotion, so he left the Army.

Harry was not involved in any active service he was surrounded by full protection at all times and spent the majority of his time in a bunker playing computer games, it's also been reported by those who who were there he didn't pass his flying exams and never actually flew a helicopter while in the army, for harry to be saidto be an inspiration to others is an Insult to those who are quietly and effectively doing the job and haven't felt the need to destroy their entire family

Harry was a GUNNER! He did not pass his pilots license exam! From many military sources he was more trouble there than he was worth! He wasn’t an asset, he came on weekends, stayed in a heavily guarded bunker playing video games. He would’ve been a target so other soldiers were put in harms way to keep him safe. He served like 10 weekends there and was given preferential treatment start to finish, even getting a heads up on random drug testing so he could avoid getting caught!
