Hangzhou, referred to as "Hangzhou", was called Lin'an and Qiantang in ancient times. It is a prefecture-level city, provincial capital, sub-provincial city, and mega city under the jurisdiction of Zhejiang Province. One of the central cities. The representative ones are the West Lake culture, Liangzhu culture, silk culture and tea culture.
Hangzhou is one of the first batch of national historical and cultural cities, and is known as the "Southeast Famous County". Excavations at the Kuahuqiao site show that humans lived and thrived here more than 8,000 years ago. The Liangzhu Culture dating back more than 5,000 years ago is known as "the dawn of Chinese civilization". Hangzhou has a history of more than 2,200 years since the establishment of the county seat in the Qin Dynasty. It was once the capital of the Wuyue Kingdom and the Southern Song Dynasty.
Hangzhou is known as a "paradise on earth" because of its beautiful scenery. Benefiting from the convenience of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal and trade ports, as well as its own well-developed silk and grain industries, Hangzhou was once an important commercial distribution center in history. Since the beginning of the new century, driven by high-tech companies such as Alibaba, the Internet economy has become a new economic growth point for Hangzhou. The 2016 G20 Summit, the 2018 World Short Course Swimming Championships, and the 2022 Asian Games will be held in Hangzhou. In the 2020 list of China's top 100 cities, Hangzhou ranks 5th.

Hangzhou is incredible that a megacity of over 10 million people can look so green and peaceful. If China is the future, Hangzhou should be the People's Republic's blueprint for Urban development. This city is my favourite in China and probably the world. It has an elegance and respect for history that few cities around the world have. This is combined with cutting edge architecture and high tech development. The picture quality of this video is top notch especially in the overcast and rainy weather. It is nice to see other places in Hangzhou beyond the stunning West Lake and the historical Linyin temple areas. Excellent work.

As someone who lives in Hangzhou I couldn’t disagree more. The central touristy bits are nice - just like any other city. The rest is a soulless and rapidly developing construction site.
The drive from here 56:00 just gets phenomenal.

脚踏车和电动自行车按照规定是需要手扶走人行道的。摩托车并不是在最右道，就是正常的机动车道。
