Great perspective and observations. The Ozdust Ballroom scene breaks me every time. My favorite moment, emotionally, of the film. Of course, the end scene is pretty amazing too.

@@adamjessiem.8945 It really was. It's rare to have a scene with little to no music or dialog pack such an emotional punch.
The movie's RUclips channel has some great behind-the-scenes shorts, two of them specifically about the Ozdust ballroom scene and it's so interesting to get the thinking behind the choices they made.

Woooo! Thank you so much for making this review and for seeing the film!!! Really awesome to hear your perspective! Just from the previews, I've seen a lot of parallels with Netflick's "Wednesday" Wednesday Adams and her relationship with her best friend who is super bubbly. Wednesday also has an unusual dance scene. But specifically the room they share and Glinda thinking she would get her own room. I don't think the story lines are going to be similar, but can't help seeing the parallels! I am most excited about Ariana Grande ... I probably wouldn't care about the film at all if she wasn't in it lol

@@ListenAway Nice! Yeah, I'll have to check out "Wednesday" at some point; I've heard nothing but good things about it. And yes, the choice to cast Ariana Grande in the role of Glinda was 👌
