I colorized this movie back in November 2023, and it has become quite popular, with a few requests for a restored black-and-white version. I also get many requests for Vincent Price movies, so I went ahead and converted a good original copy, downloaded from the Archive, from SD to 4K at 60fps.
I took the SD copy and upscaled it to 4K using the AI Ultra setting, along with AI facial enhancement and 5% sharpening. I also doubled the frame rate to 60fps. This enhancement has significantly improved clarity, revealing details that were not visible in the original download. The entire process took just over 26 hours to complete.

This work is in the public domain because it was published in the United States between 1929 and 1964, and although there may or may not have been a copyright notice, the copyright was not renewed.
