I love this review format, much more authentic than only talking about the build experience and the value, but actually playing with the set with the family!
This was a nice experiment. Love the thought process and trying to predict the results. Shows the complexity of mechanical systems. Perhaps there are other factors with the wind up motors in that they don’t wind exactly the same each time. Also the traction of the tires is a factor. Wheel slippage definitely affects the results. Or maybe the o e with the least amount of stickers wins? Lol
Since this is the first year we are taking Dakota with us to Brickworld, I am thinking about getting one of these sets for the motors. Brickworld has a Pullback dragster race for the kids. Well it is more about the distance like you where showing. The best part is it looked like you and the family had a good time. 🙂
Finally some useful LEGO information! This is what the people need! Sidenote: I wonder if the mclaren could be improved by removing the steering. I'm sure there is slight "mechanical wobble" holding it back. Great video idea, though! Very novel!
It was great to see President Mindy taking part on this quest... Also it was fun to see Jimmy the Young Explorer having fun and not destroying anything... Although I think you had the most fun King Alex.. great episode once again...👏👏👍👍
It's a gimmick. Since it's not Speed Champions, they need something to set it apart. Kids will like it, but with all toys, they'll likely play with it for a day like we did and then put it on a shelf.
Actually the LDS churches will let people use the gym for various activities free of charge. Usually it’s like family reunions or wedding receptions but I guess Lego RUclips videos now.
The Mercedes get lighter and go farther the more you use it because it's burning off the fuel, right? 😂 I like the look of this McLaren better, but I'm passing on these and will probably get 2 or 3 of the other F1 sets that are part of the March 1 release.
Is there any chance that Jimmy long run had to do with holding the motor for so long which stored energy that was busting to get loose. Just a thought I’m no scientist

This was a fun way of doing a review. Great Job Jimmy, Mindy & Alex 😄

First time in my life seeing the w14 winning a race, incredible
sad, but true.

That was fun! The wheels of the Mercedes are wider, maybe that's wy the Mercedes go further🤔
We NEED a comparison between the 42156 vs 76909 Please!
Great video thanks!
Do you think the pull back functionality makes the product better or worse overall?

Am I the only on wondering how MR Big Time affords to rent out a gym. Lol

@@jasonsbricksin5 that’s pretty awesome.
Very fun review!
Nice video. I enjoyed the races. Fun.
Great video idea
Now I want to try the same in a big space
5:26 Nice wife glare, Mindy! Pretty sure Jason sees those with his snarky comments, too.
Great video!! How fun 🎉😊
Do you know why they made them different sizes? Which size is best?
Different price points for different wallets. But I always say bigger is better!
I like all your videos, they are all very good! 👍🏻 you have a very nice family also.
lovely review
The porsche is probably the fastest in a straight line.
