Ha, I didn’t know you were recording. The intermediate track looked awesome. We missed out on riding that, after doing the hard track. Although we did ride bits of it while exploring Sunday arvo. My GB Weld fix on my case did the job, I made it back home safely on Monday and held together well. No leaking at all. Great to meet you, keep up the great work.
Good! People are the the best when they dont know the camera is rolling ;) I would never tell anyone what you were really doing in the bushes! Glad it held up for you. Will you get it welded up, or is the JB a permanent fix?
@@Nerb1 I'll see how the JB weld holds up I have a few tours coming up and I don't think I'll have time to pull the engine down to get it welded. A new engine case is close to $1500, it could be an insurance job in the future, but for now JB weld is the quick fix.
Nice riding! roadbook navigation is so much fun. I hope there will be events here this year, all of the very few have been cancelled in the past 2 years.
Hi Nerb, great stuff as usual. Glad we crossed paths at the rally. I come off my Dr650 on the flat track and you got me starting to pick the bike up on your video. Always enjoy your vids mate.
Great video, that looked like a whole lot of fun! Might have to give it a crack next time. Ripper tracks and scenery. Well ridden mate, thanks for bringin us along...
Half those tracks are in the Stockmans rally, or Kenda rally( can’t remember which one) always wondered what it would be like to do it on an adventure bike.
Cool vid! Just so you know, the people at 19:58 were helping the bloke who rode with a Pillion(yes.. your read that right lol) up that hill on the AT. Oh and the Beamer guy.. but that goes without saying🤣
Great as always. First time l do try to watch you handle use. I was in the impression that you need to keep 2 fingers on the brake an clutch, and l cant do that with my short fingers(rumours that other things are short then are false 😄) Insanely roads to have fun on. Looking forward to see the hard parts and your loong trip. Cheers mate 🇳🇴☕
Sure does look like a good time again. Funny that you are so famous some people don't even have to see you to know it's you haha. Cheers 4 sharing sir.
Great vid, looks like a great time! I'm booked for my first "roadbook" style event come this summer (here in BC, Canada) have wanted to do one for such a long time. Great time we live in that there's apps for it and people are making it a thing, it seems like a blast. Looking forward to the next episode!
@Bob Sacamano one is the only surviving saw mill, the timber building is the old school house/hall. The tin sheds and are part of the hydro scheme.. Most saw mills and small towns, etc were burnt in the 1939 bush fires that wiped out the area. That was a very big major fire. There is 2 trestle bridges there, only 1 that you can drive under.. Hope you enjoyed the area and come back to look around more.
Nice. Is it possible to use the phone GPS as a more accurate odometer in the app? Maybe even auto-advance the roadbook? Not sure if that would be considered cheating.
Yes, the app uses the phone GPS for its odometer. You cant use the bike trip meter as you cant wind it back when you need to. The roadbook is simply a PDF. People use fancy buttons to advance it, but its not really necessary. Some people print out the pdf and make a proper paper roadbook. Im not THAT serious.
@@Nerb1 Some guys were using a simple Bluetooth audio controller from Jaycar that mounting to the handlebar. $20 is believe. by pressing the play button it scrolled the pdf using one of the roadbook aps. Easily the best and cheapest solution I saw being used.

Terrific event. Cant believe this is the first im hearing of it.
Looks like a great time and great event.

I thought you were going BB?
Mark will be there next year with bells on!

Another great video, as usual. It was great meeting and chatting with you. Looking forward to the next one. Keep up the great work!
I saw that you made a few appearances Leigh, great to meet you also.
Love the vid and especially the running commentary. Looks like a blast!
Nice work Brendon, looking forward to the next installment. Grats to the guys and gals running what looks to be an excellent event.
Thanks Tori.
That was brilliant to watch. Can't wait for the advanced track in your next episode

Great video as always Brendan and a cool look at the ORR 👍🏻 looking forward to the advanced route👌🏻

Thanks for making it look easy!! Great video
I saw your video about last year's ORR and it made get a ticket to this year's rally, it was a really fun weekend.
I did have a chain guide fitted when mine came off so they are not 100% effective. Unlucky for Rod! Good vid mate 👍
Shit... How loose was yours when it happened?
@@Nerb1 3 fingers above the back of the chain slider 😝🤙
Eagerly awaiting the advanced track footage Nerb! 😝
Its uploaded... will make it live tomorrow night.
👏👏👏
Worth the wait, cheers for making another vid!!
The intermediate track was an awesome ride.

Looks like a blast, there looks to be just amazing riding all across Australia. Really want to get out there someday.
How much would you pay for a private tour of the country?

Brilliant run Brendon!! I'd love to do something like that once my confidence increased on the Africa Twin!!
Stamps are great, keeps you on your toes.
Awesome track
You missed a stamp on the right at the “bridge or creek”. At 21:06
Good spotting... I guess I was looking at the creek! I missed two on the intermediate.
@@Nerb1 we found 4 on the intermediate track (there were five of them to find), but only 2 on the advanced (not sure how many were available).
I collected 3 on the intermediate, 3 on the hard and 4 on the cruiser. There was 5 on each track.
You did well.
Nice one 💪🏻
Cant wait to do some rally’s now when I got a Carpe Iter
The real deal!
You made light work of that hard hill hahaha!!
Enjoyed the video. I know most of those tracks?
Did you go under the trestle bridge? And see all the other great spots we have in this area?
Yes we did - the tracks were awesome!

👍 👌
Maybe the next mod should be ABS rings that correct the speedometer so your road book will be more accurate
@Bob Sacamano speedo is too fast. I'll take a corrected speedo and an odometer in my favor over OEM anyday.
Ripper vid mate. Where are you going in June?
Melbourne to Fink, Simpson, Normanton, Townsville and back.
Nice one Nerb. Looked a lot of fun. Alexandra was the base, where in relation to there was the course?
Cheers
The course was in Rubicon. Snobs Creek. Royston Range.

The odometer is good but the wheel spin skews the numbers, but it is a good reference to have them both.

It’s gets exciting when you lock up the rear tire nerb 😂
I put an oversized pedal on the brake and I was locking the rear a little easier than usual. I just took it off yesterday... didnt really like it.
That's what she said ,it's got a little bit of depth to that
