Strangely enough, MCU Hela’s swords are also called Necroswords, as aspects of her abilities were lifted from Gor, meaning the nature of MCU Gor’s power may be altered in some way.
Perhaps she encountered Gor during Odin's conquest, and managed to best (but not kill) him? If the sword is a klyntar symbiote of some sort or another, it could perhaps be split and taken by another while still leaving it with the original owner as well

I think the Enternals will potentially appear at the end or a post credits scene as looking at things there's a much much bigger threat coming in which it can't be taken out alone. In regards to Loki I think coming from the series he's close to finding what he's truly meant to do so we could potentially get a whole new varient of Loki. It's all leading towards another big team up and the Enternals will have a big part to play as they've discovered the right path now so I'm sure they will want to try undo what was done before by helping when they previously couldn't. The theory of Jane finding the hammer apart makes the most sense as you can see it's been put back together by the cracks seen when she wields the hammer.
17:31-17:39 Friendly reminder that Lady Sif (another character absent during Ragnarok) is also returning, and they’ve been teasing her romantic feelings for Thor since the first movie.
I wonder if Odin is still spiritually hanging around. Slowly allowing Thor to control more of the Odin force. Could be this is how Jane is able to works Mjolnir. I just finished God of Hammers so I might just be seeing connections that are wishful thinking. But both Mjolnir from the trailer and comic look oddly similar...

Actually when Odin and his two brothers stole the eternal flame from surtur, in order to keep surtur in his dimension, Odin 's brothers sacrificed themselves by raising a mountain range in order to seal the dimensional breach. I'm Norwegian-american and you actually did really good pronouncing yggdrasil! It's more like EEG-drah-zil, with the stress more on the first syllable, but you did good, I could definitely understand it. (also there's this tricky pronunciation where you barely pronounce the y, your tongue just sort of slides over it but like it doesn't matter if you can't do it, I can't either, it's like the double r in Spanish where if you're not a native speaker, it's a hard sound to make and no one cares if you can't) (also also yggdrasil is super cool it's an ash (ask in Norwegian) tree and all the 9 realms come off of it from it's branches and roots and at the roots there are these beings called norns who are these super powerful 3 women named past, present, and future, and they coat the roots in mud and determine your fate by spinning out a piece of thread, measuring it and cutting it and they're super cool I've gone off on too long of a tangent and go read Neil gaiman's Norse mythology it's so cool)
13:20 It was actually for this reason that Yggdrasil gets its namesake Ygg is one of the names of Odin and Drasil means gallows thus Yggdrasil means Odin’s Gallows!
There's a big thing you left off, in regards to how powerful Gorr is (and I mean that literally) -- in the trailer, there was a large white creature that was on the ground; it was killed. That creature was a god, and Thor knew him. In the comics, Gorr took out that god. In fact, it's an exact recreation of the scene in the comics.
Hela used Mjolnir before Thor was born, when there was no enchantment on it yet. So she had no need to be worthy then. And when Odin died, she yet again didn't need to be worthy as the enchantment was now gone. I don't think she would ever have been able to lift it while the enchantment was on it. And for why the enchantment was still there during Endgame, I like to think of it as when Odin died, anything that he needed his power to maintain stopped working for example the enchantment on Mjolnir. However, the 2013 Mjolnir arrived in the timeline after his death not during it. Thus it wasn't affected. Think of it as an explosion, it'll kill anything within its vicinity but it wouldn't kill you if you walk there a year later. Same principle.
I just realized :"its time i be who i am rather than who im supposed to be" might be referring to how hes no longer stuck in the loop of the sacred timeline and has a newfound sense of freewill

I dont think the necrosword will be the ebony blade, BUT I think they will have the ebony blade be classified the same as the necrosword, being a symbiote to connect it with something most audiences will be familiar with. And with the necrosword, ebony blade, and as of no way home Venom are all now in the MCU maybe they are all leading up to a huge big bad. Knull!!
It wouldn’t be the first time the MCU merged power items. The Tessarract (or Cosmic Cube in the comics) was turned into the space stone and the Eye of Agamoto was it’s own thing and not the time stone. So there is precedent.

Yggdrasil's significant in Norse mythology eh? Guess I need to re-think how I decorated my settlement in Assassin's Creed: Valhalla. They dropped a few bits of that set with Prime Gaming.
Setting boundaries is very important. You have to have a way of keeping bad elements out of your life, and a way to determine what is good or bad without allowing it to harm you before you can figure it out. That's why we need to secure the border.
The remains of Mjölnir were collected and put behind a glass , like in a museum in New Asgard, meaning the spell was broken and anyone can pick it up. Someone will find a way to fix it , putting it back together , reactivating the spell , then Jane will pick it up

The world tree is supposed to carry the whole word with Aasgaard on top, Midgard (our world) in the middle and Jotunheim at the bottom. Maybe he’s sitting at the very top🤔maybe marvel has decided to do a more symbolised versjon of yggdrasil instead of a literal one
Now that's the 2nd time that Christian Bale took on the character of an Orphan. Both in a Superhero Movie, dark theme, Black suit in DC and White 'suit' in Marvel.
I love that the ship we see in the trailer is being pulled by goats. A nod to Tanngrisnir and Tanngnjóstr the two functionally immortal goats that pulled Thor’s chariot in the Mythos.

Hey SCB!! just a thought: what if the god killer is going out to kill Zeus and this is while Thor is visiting, he sees Thor do some type of lightning attack and mistakes him for Zeus? And that’s how he comes to meet Thor for the 1st time and they come to do battle. He basically kills Zeus and sees Thor as Zeus’s potential replacement.
I have a question In the end of what if we saw the watcher let natasha live in an alternate universe. And in the M.O.M reed explained if someone exists in the wrong universe, an incursion will happen. So if you reading this do you think it is going to happen in season 2 of what if

Personally I’m very intrigued that Zeus along with Greek mythology is coming because Disney has casted the main roles for a Disney plus show called Percy Jackson and the Olympians. I think it’s interesting that there now bring Greek into Marvel because if they are could we get a crossover, maybe. Plus them bring Eygiptian gods and already having Norse established. Setting boundaries is very important. You have to have a way of keeping bad elements out of your life, and a way to determine what is good or bad without allowing it to harm you before you can figure it out. That's why we need to secure the border.
"zeus is gonna die" *feels very confident that he called it until the mid-credits scene slaps him in the face*
Yeashh!! Love your theories
The remains of Mjölnir were collected and put behind a glass , like in a museum in New Asgard, meaning the spell was broken and anyone can pick it up. Someone will find a way to fix it , putting it back together , reactivating the spell , then Jane will pick it up
Ben at 10:29: "...You know that the state of earth post-blip is not great"
Me who was spacing out and just saw Westview: "but that's what our world looks like?"
Now I feel like you have a sound bomb in the background😂😂😂
actually you did say the name of the world tree correctly
Oh man you guys are going to love the new trailer
11:05 the Greek gods, Norse gods, Egyptian gods AND Wakandan gods too!
If you ever need info on Norse mythology or mythology. Might want to reach out to Jon Solo does great dives into this stuff and has imo great pronunciations.
The God Of Thunder is back! 💯💯💯💯✅✅✅
Hearing him say Yggdrasil gotta be the most comedic thing I’ve heard in a long time 😂😂😂
Ben and I have the same birthday 10/25 and Slytherins?! Wild.
6:36 I don’t know, that tree does looks awfully small to be Yggdrasil.
I think it's not just a nod but his actual goats but in the comics they were called Toothgrinder and Toothgnasher
@@strifenineteen that is their names translated
@@ked49 I kind of figured, I was just saying that they are in Marvel Comics So it wasn't a nod to their mythos but to the characters themselves
Technical question:
Putting the low bass white noise that seems to happen in certain segments. What does that do? Is it a reengagement tool?
Where?
I am so look in fwd to see in this movie. Different topic but I tryed your super carlin brothers Coffee as Rub on my stake me & my family loved it. Its was Thorrific. Dc fan here but so seeing this cause of Natalie Portman.
I'm excited for this Thor movie, can't wait to see it. Thor's new eyes are gorgeous.
Captain america wielding mjolnir along with Thor wielding stormbreaker was epic....and now Jane will replace Cap
This movie is definitely gonna be interesting, that’s for sure
5:50
Apparently the ghost is a fan of thor too.
The two Gods he saw fighting he couldn’t name. But if you look into it the two gods that were fighting were knull the symbiote God, and the (black) Silver Surfer.
Hey SCB!! just a thought: what if the god killer is going out to kill Zeus and this is while Thor is visiting, he sees Thor do some type of lightning attack and mistakes him for Zeus? And that’s how he comes to meet Thor for the 1st time and they come to do battle. He basically kills Zeus and sees Thor as Zeus’s potential replacement.
what happen to shrek reboot is cancelled?
Uhhhhhhhh I can not wait for this movie that might just be my favorite Thor look ever in the MCU with the gold and blue
I have a question
In the end of what if we saw the watcher let natasha live in an alternate universe. And in the M.O.M reed explained if someone exists in the wrong universe, an incursion will happen. So if you reading this do you think it is going to happen in season 2 of what if
1st Reed doesn’t understand incursions.
2nd you can’t destroy an already destroyed universe. so no harm done
THANK YOU! Entertaining!
I want to see you guys collab with MatPat in a future film theory video.
Anyone else just remembered that Tony made Thor a power belt in Spider-Man Homecoming, yet never gave it to him?
He didn't make him one, Thor probably left it at the tower
@@strifenineteen I’m sorry what? He didn’t make one, but Thor left it at the tower?
@@dariusswanson9898 yeah Thor has always had a belt that increased his strength when he wears it, this is probably a nod to that
@@strifenineteen what I said in the original comment was that Tony made him one in Homecoming though. If you watch Happy moving everything from Stark tower he mentions the power belt but he can’t say the name, but he mentions Tony made it.
@@dariusswanson9898 but he doesn't, he says "Tony's old hulkbuster armor, Cap's prototype shield and (after trying to say its name twice and failing) Thor's magic belt", no mention that Tony made it. Plus he calls it Thor's magic belt and Tony doesn't work with magic I don't see him making it
Hmmm I wonder if the Dwarves fixed the hammer? That or Dr Strange does something in his movie that changes reality
You mean Dwarf (singular)
Am I the only one that noticed the sponsor loading bar? Not sure how long it was part of the show, but I like it.
9:07 gore really said " I don't see how that's my problem"
I actually think Lady Sif will play a big part in Thors' journey..she has noticeably been absent the last Thor movie as well as Endgame..but we know she is still alive. According to the comics she ends up with Thor and they have a child together
*Myths
Random fact.
I saw in that trailer that the movie is supposed to come out of my b day.
06/06/2022
Hope they don’t change that. That would make me sad.
They could be faking us out with the eyes AGAIN in a trailer
Did he say the ebony blade?
any possiblity all the different thors are different varients? Jane too?
What thing binds back the broken mjolnir? That's my question of the trailer 🤔
Superglue
Gorilla glue and flex tape
Just a comment about the last bit of the video. The Ebony blade and the All-black are two different swords. They aren't the same. The Wittman family owns the Ebony blade while the All-black is the one created by Knull and the first symbiote. Just thought I'd let you guys know
Watch the video
they say DO you think they WILL make them the same blade
NOT that they are the same
so don’t fact check them
Ben for Kvothe!🗡🧙🏻♂️ J for Elodin!🧙🏻♂️🗡
Odin gave his eye to Mimer in exchange for wisdom. It was put at the bottom of mimer's well from where odin sees all.
That is what I learned in school of our history being from Scandinavia the home of norse mythology.
I also feel that the post credit scenes of this movie will set up the plot of Guardians 3. Whatever happens I am hyped for this movie.
I don’t know maybe the (Egyptian gods) Kane chronicle and (Norse gods) Magnus Chase that are in the Percy Jackson universe could make an appearance
Is Jafar (from Aladdin) a fire bender or avatar? Because when all of the past avatars appear in one of the scenes one of them looks like Jafar.
