I just had a thought about the cooling of the clay. Take a small cooler and put one or two of the blocks that you freeze and pop them into the cooler. Place the clay perhaps in some sort of container into the cooler for a few minutes. This will saving the time of running to the refrigerator and back again. You can use this method for quite a long time before it begins to lose its effect. Thanks for your videos. I have gained some great tips.

Thank you, Joyce! These colors are one of very favorites, especially when they have mica in them. Mica covered by resin gives the pendants amazing shine and I love it! Thank you for watching!

What beautiful colors and lovely design. What is your advice for getting the layers so thin? Is it the thin layering, a steady hand, or a just keep trying? I have such a hard time doing that . Thank you for a great tutorial! 🩵🤍💙

My dear Ruth, thank you so much! I love this technique! What works best for me is when I put my layered clay on the table and then shave off thin slices with my flexible blade. So you are not slicing it but going from the top. Does that make any sense? And the flexible blade is also a ticket to get it think. Let me know how it goes. Have a beautiful holiday season, my friend!

Hi I'm a beginner and have been working on the cabochons referring your tutorials. Tq so much. Could you please let me know if it's advisible to use glue glitters on polymer clay? If yes, after baking or while blending the clay? Please revert. Tx in advance

Thank you so much for watching and referring my videos to others. I would not mix in glitter glue into the clay but I would certainly use it on baked pieces! I think it would stunning. I love glitter so anything with little sparkle is up my alley!

Beautiful! What temperature do you bake them at and for how long? Can you bake them in the air fryer?

I baked it at 260 degrees for 30 minutes but different clay manufacturers recommend different temperatures so I could check the wrapper of the clay that you are using. I have seen people use convection oven but I have not done so personally. I would try it first with a piece that you really don't care about. Also, don't forget to dome your piece with aluminum foil or it might get burned. Good luck and have fun!

Joanna these are absolutely beautiful!!!!!😍 Do you have a technique for applying the resin? I just started using UV resin but I’ve been having trouble with mine staying a little sticky and also some weird cloudy spots. I’d love to be able to get mine as perfect and clear as yours.

Hi Ariane! I have never used UV resin but I have had the same "sticky" issue in the past. I am using PourOn resin from Michaels. It is relatively inexpensive when you use the coupon. I think the sticky issue comes up if your ratio is off when you mix solutions from the two bottles that come in the kit. The amounts have to be exactly the same otherwise the project will be sticky and it will never harden. When it comes to clarity, I use a simple lighter to pop the bubbles. I noticed that when I use a torch, I get a cloudy finish on my pendants and that is something that you want to avoid. Let me know if those tips will work for you!
