I would never truly believe in the spiritual realm, if I didn't read his books. He made me realize kindness is the essence of the Universe and I can see there are gradual but significant changes in how I feel or think about the world. Shanto Lion No you are not the only one! You are much more than the body, mental mind and ego that comes with it. Your soul has it’s own experiences and qualities that have developed over lifetimes and your body can feel like something other than you!
I've never told anyone but i feel the same. I remember when i was around nine my mom asked me why i kept looking in the mirror? And i said i can't remember what i look like.

I'm now 61. When I was around 7-10 years of age I knew something was off with me. (In a good way.) I didn't like being around allot of other kids and that never left me. I gave myself to Christianity and I'm done with that MESS!
I wanted to know where I came from because life was way off. Then I heard my first NDE. Pam Reynolds. For the first time, (I was 40) I knew THIS WAS IT!

I'm an open minded skeptic on Dr. Newton's work. But, this is a great interview. I would have enjoyed sitting down over a cup of coffee and talking with this man. Rich as always does a great job of just letting the subject talk.

I'm curious, how can a subject know that it's not just his/her own subconscious that's hallucinating/fantasizing about the afterlife? How can the subject know that what he/she experiences is actually real memories from a real afterlife?
Sure, it will definitely feel real and seem real to the subject - but that's exactly what hallucinations/fantasies/dreams do; they seem extremely real.
I'm not against the concept of an afterlife; I'm just very rationally and scientifically oriented.
FREEDOM When everybody in past life regression have similar hallucinations about the afterlife... It makes one wonder.
When all (most?) his subjects have similar hallucinations it makes one wonder... Do they all psychic-ly reading HIS mind and are getting the hallucinations from HIS mind? Or is it their own?

@@danl.4743 I agree that the most probable explanation is that the subjects' experiences are actually real. I see that I made the original comment about 2 years ago, and that must have been before I truly believed it. Since then, I've had a few spiritual experiences myself (completely unrelated to hypnosis-sessions), and it has made me pretty certain that what Micheal Newton was saying, is actually the real deal. (I intuitively KNOW it's true - but as I'm an extremely strong skeptic by nature, I can't guarantee it 100%... I'm the kind of person who has seen the spiritual dimension with my own soul's "eyes" - and I still have a tiny bit of doubt about it... I'm such a chronic doubter about everything in life...)
@@hansmalmstrm9888 I don't know that - and the topic of "existence/reality" is something that I've thought extremely deeply about for a long time... However, what I do "know" is that this world we live in is just a "bubble"; it's not the REAL world. I experienced the difference between this world and the REAL world, one time where I crossed over to the spiritual dimension and saw the famous white light. (This happened some time after the original comment I wrote above here, which is why I was so skeptical in that comment - because I didn't have any empirical reasons to believe in the "afterlife" and "souls" at that time.)
I found it fascinating reading his books. Cudos to him for doing this research even in the 60’s when pier review kick back may not have been favorable. So much politics in science, and in just about any academic study.
Yes that is true. He was quiet about his research for many years before publishing his first book. And then, yes he took some grief. He was even heckled at some book signings on his first book tour. He was really ahead of his time.
Amazing person his knowledge of spirituality hope going to make a revolution worldwide in the understanding of what is the spiritual dimension and human relation to it, all his books will be the Bible of future generations

Also I'd like to hear more about the lay out and structure of the in between lives areas, not the emotional stuff but what are the itineraries involved and the possibility of finding a nice piece of real estate to live in over there.
How are the buildings and houses made? Do you have to hire people to construct a place for yourself? Does real water, land, snow, rain, clouds etc exist over there?
Are there any job openings over there or places of employment?
Where does the COUNCIL OF NINE go in their 'off time' and who is their tailor?
I've asked many supposed 'people in the know' these questions and I only get GLIB answers like "You can create anything you want there" which doesn't answer anything.

I have one memory that I know is a past life because I have never been to any place like that. I just remember seeing out from a garden view house/ apartment and the people walking on the street. I can see the furniture and it's prob 50s or 60s but that's all. I also remember being in a green car and my parents and aunt & uncle pushing it bc it had some kind of trouble. They said I can't remember that bc I wasn't even 2, but I do.
I think it would be great/important to make a movie or tv series based on this body of knowledge. Please help make it happen O:) o:)

Physicist Dr Tom Campbell worked for NASA and worked for TMI(The Monroe Institute) . Dr. Campbell was one of the Explorers of Robert A Monroe founder of TMI . If you log at TMI you can find in Resources 24 of the tapes of the sessions the Explorers had. At least one of the tapes is Dr. Capmbell's tape. The tapes are free to all humankind and they are produced within a rigorous scientific environment. Initially were 32 tapes, I downloaded them for my own reference, now they reduced the access to only 24 tapes and never published new "Explorers" type of work as in the old days of Robert Monroe, and I don't know whyI tried Dr. Campbell "My Big Toe" it is difficult to read. He has a convoluted style of explaining things. I still like to hear him once in a while.
Law of spirit world- book is a good one to explain. 2 young brothers died in a car accident and their mother connected to them through medium and the book has the details.

@@heatherclark8668 I'm from Australia too, G'day. However originally from Europe and I felt a big emptiness here from day one. The lack of a deep united culture is strikingly evident. People in general have no knowledge or appreciation of deeper things in life especially spirituality. Only sports and other shallow and cheap futilitys. Not to mention Vegemite, hahaha 😀 . I can talk to anyone from any another countrys about art, classical music, spirituality etc, and do it for hours but not with Australians in general. All of my learnings are from the US, UK, even Saouth Africa and parts of Asia, but zero sources from Australia. All of these counties have produced some well known and wonderful spiritual teachers, philosophers and movements but Australia. This still puzzles me even after 30 some years living here. This nation needs a massive waking up. A massive one. It will come. It will. 🙏

I heard him say in another interview that his wife Peggy was his soul mate, had been together many lives and in his current life when Peggy was giving birth to their first child he was in a panic and later learned that he and Peggy had lost a child in a previous life, explaining his fear.

I want to know what is the soul growing or coming to earth for? Why do they need to become a better soul? Where are they going? Why happens in the soul world when your done evolving? What’s the point in being in a constant classroom. What’s it all lead too?

When I was 6 or seven years old. I got severely ill, I seen several times an albino man watching me behind my visitors in the hospital. I saw him in the home too after discharged after the illness till I get well. When I asked my mother who is the man behind people who always come to see me but I don't know who is he? She told I was ranting due to illness.
Can't afford to buy the books unfortunately. I know this is just a brief interview but what I really wanted to know was what we "actually do" during our time between lives. I know he says that we review our immediate past life and join our soul group but then what do we do? I now expect someone to tell me that the answer to this is contained in this man's books but I CAN'T afford to buy his books. Is there another good video to watch to get some insight to this please?

In the Life Between Lives is there a sense of time ? Do souls have a 24 hour day and still go through the motions of eating, drinking and sleeping ? Perhaps one day there is like 10 years on Earth.
In his book, "Journey of Souls", there was a soul who spoke about how time moves way faster in the afterlife than it does on earth. And another soul said something along the lines of that there is no time, and that everything happens at the same time. So from what I understand, there is no time in the afterlife, and therefore a soul can be several places and do several things at the same time, and earth-years are really slow compared to a souls experience of time. (This is also why the universe, the solar system and the biological evolution seem to have taken sooo long to develop in earth-years; but it actually didn't take very long to develop in "soul-time".)

He says we make choices about our next incarnation, e.g. a life plan. He also states we get to make choices about our bodies. Well if that were the case I can't think why anyone would choose to be Transgender in light of all the backlash and horrible comments being made with regard to these people

Just out of curiosity, many people tout beings we meet between lives as " false light" who seduce us in order to trick us into the cycles of birth death and karma and minions on a leash where we give up our free will to serve a spiritual hierarchy, thoughts on that?

Matus Tokarcik: True, there's no real answer to this. But if you stop and think about it logically, considering how the afterlife is usually portrayed in research and literature, you'll realize that this theory of "manipulation and trickery" is extremely unlikely. Whoever/whatever designed the afterlife-universe, can't be capable of manipulating, tricking and taking advantage of the souls (which are all "energetic children" that are directly tied to the creator himself/herself/itself). Peace, love and security have such a high priority in the afterlife, that a truly manipulative/evil creator couldn't have created it.
So, I think it's more like the creator has given each soul the OPPORTUNITY to grow and experience the "soul-journey", because the creator knew that the "soul-journey" would be deeply meaningful for the souls - as opposed to just granting them all access to the "God-level" straight away. Everything tastes better when you've truly worked for it/deserved it; then you're able to truly appreciate the reward - as opposed to just being granted the reward without having made any effort for it. So I think the "soul-journey" is something the creator ALLOWS us to experience; not something the creator "tricks us" into experiencing.
Think about it: If you were an all-powerful entity/being that doesn't need anything from anyone, and you also knew that you were capable of splitting yourself up into several sub-versions of yourself; wouldn't you want to give these "children of yours" the greatest experience possible? And the greatest experience always relies around some kind of journey/adventure. The greatest experience is always at the beginning of an adventure, during the adventure, and after the adventure - where you're able to truly appreciate the value of the adventure.
So, all in all, it seems much more likely that the whole theory of "manipulation and trickery in the afterlife", is just humanity's own way of rationalizing the afterlife. Because the idea of a "truly loving and peaceful afterlife" might sound too good to be true, considering how untrustworthy and deceitful human beings are capable of being. So humans therefore project their own, earthly, negative experiences on to the afterlife.

Are there reports of people identifying their soul group, and finding out that they have strong relationships with people not included in their soul group, or learning groups?
Yes, but those are typically short, some can be dramatic but they usually play a lessor role in a bigger play. There was one case however, where a woman in hypno discovered her uncle in this life, one whom she really loved and revered, was in a different soul group then her own, they were still able to communicate telepathically, yet remaining separated, until she understood the reasons why and her fears being assuaged.
I have so many questions after reading his books but the biggest one is - would my soulmates all have different soul groups? As lets say one of my soulmate is my best friend Linda. However she has soulmates that play absolutely no significance in my life like her mother or husband. And Lindas husbands soulmates have soulmates that play no significance in Lindas life let alone mine. Therefore it would not be possible that my group is all connected to each other. My group could only be connected to me. Each of my soulmates would need a separate soul group of their own. So are there many projections of the same soul that can be in different groups at the same time?
@@elmangule we all have many questions. Most of our questions are very interesting, but we should be careful not to get confuse about what is most important.
Your question is a deep one. I feel like some people in my life I have had the deepest connection to are not even in my life but seldomly. I guess they might be in my soul group, but we could also simply be learning a lot of the same priciples as souls.
Remember there seems to be people we are in school with and also those we have in our group.
I feel like the nature of the relationships you share are more important than discoving the origins of the relationships.
What do they support, what do they challenge? How do you respond? What is easy with you, what makes you grow? Who shows you new things, who shows you the same thing every time?...
As you become increasingly engaged in your process you might see a change in the questions that interest you.
We never know when this life will end, but we can get involved in our souls final condition.
If you are still on earth, your work is not done.

We have several soul groups depending in interests the group's have.
I have also wondered about the larger picture of our 'society' of souls. The larger truth has perhaps been dumbed down to help give us an immediate handhold of understanding. It may be that we attract others in a way that evolves as each of us evolves on our own very unique paths. Maybe we touch other souls in a way that "we-each-have-our-own-separate-soul-neighbors" geometry is good enough to do the right thing now. But I also would love to see a larger understanding of soul groups.
I am very much an introvert, so I can't imagine there are many souls in my soul group. I'm pretty misanthropic actually.

MN seems to indicate that we retain the same personality thru various lives & so we are allocated next lives on the basis of the suitability of our personality to be received by its next host. There is suggestion that the other souls have personalities & recognizable gender too (he/she).
I think he states that it's a mix between the souls "personality" and the incarnated bodys personality/ego. So different result from life to life. Which makes sense I believe :)

I wonder what shall we make of so many hellish experiences that NDErs have had. Many of them did not believe in hell. In my opinion if hell is true, and I see no reason to not believe otherwise, we have to revisit our entire understanding of God. A loving, forgiving and even just god and hell are mutually exclusive.
Hell is this realm my friend where we have allowed narcisisstic people took over finance and leadership.
You know what love, beauty, joy feel like.
You know what hate, pain, fear feel like.
God as a being and hell as a place are just concepts in the mind.
Strive for all that feels good and forget about concepts.

No need for any physical traits in the spirit. From what he says in his books, we are balls of energy at varying levels of knowledge that is defined by our color radiance, balls of energy do come close to each other from time to time to experience great joy in an already joyful place, but it is not comparable to anything we experience as Humans,.as there is no marriage or physical contact in the Human sense.

The Soul? When did humans acquire a soul in our evolutionary journey? Did our ancestors the small mammals that were alive during the age of Dinosaurs have a soul? After all they are our ancestors. Eventually they became ape like and then humanoid beings . At what point did these beings aquire a soul? Did the fish like creatures that came from the ocean have a soul? How did it happen?
Human did not acquire a soul. Human is a soul taking different bodies.

I don't see it like that. It's more like they are all so 'naive ' to see it as a game to return back into another reincarnation of suffering. I also see a lot of attachments and therefore the teachers "guides" are there to help you return back to what 'you' yourself wanted. You feel all the guilt and want to come back for another ride. It seems like seeing it as a game makes people more vulnerable to accept another reincarnation of suffering. Where is the soul that is all knowing in the afterlife? It sounds to me that it remains ignorant.

I think he made the whole thing up. In his books we find a million logical nonsense and contradictions. Apparently, this is how he wanted to realize himself. He probably never heard anything about the collective unconscious from the great psychologist C.G. Jung, moreover, his clients before coming to regression hypnosis read his books and were in his "force field", even directly under his influence,
therefore, they could say what this "PhD" wanted to hear. His books are like storybooks. Soul energy, a portion of which we leave behind in the spirit realm that greets our dearly departed before our die;
our human mammal body that is our host, despite the fact that even lower level souls are capable of creating living beings according to this author...moreover, the consciousness of this human body, which is on a higher level than that of other animals, disappears forever after death, while the lower type of soul - the consciousness of the animal reaches the animal "heaven",
even the lower mental consciousness of these dogs can be found by the so-called souls - Seekers in this animal spiritual realm for such a purpose that the soul (which was in the human body of the former owner of this dog) could play with him in the spiritual realm. ..and similar nonsense. Well, I could go on listing the nonsense that Mr. Newton, PhD has written in his books.

I'm offended by my own suspicions that this planet is _not_ a "school," but a concentration camp for criminals and the Unwanted of the Larger Cosmos. Whatever a "Soul" is (perhaps a "semi-localized node" of Self-Aware Vacuum-Energy Plasma?), if it can't be destroyed, perhaps the next best thing is to zap it's memories and re-program it with a false history and imbue it with lust for eternal bliss. This would facilitate general compliance to a faux reality that extends all the way to the so-called "After-Life." (This is just my suspicion, but frighteningly getting closer to a "faith" of sorts, powered by an amygdala admittedly slanted negative).
I long-ago rejected the Christian Narrative (unacceptable history, illogical and psychologically toxic), fell into New-Age teachings (equally problematic), studied NDE's and STE's, read a lot of crunk, and found myself eventually doubting all of it.
I don't think _all_ paranormal experiences and the conflicting Faiths and world-views out there can be reduced to mere confabulations of human minds; a lot of it strikes me as "psychological devices," or "Faith Constructs," delivered to us by the "Light/Warden" of this System, to keep us mired, pliable and ignorant of our True History, both as a corporeal species and as eternal entities (native to the very Fabric of Reality), but lost in a state of (potentially eternal) amnesia.
So-called "Demons" may be the Gangsters of this Demiurge, ancient criminals running things at the periphery of the Prison-Complex (Earth) yet still unavoidably (if not overtly) serving the interests of "God," the Light/Warden, hemming us-in with an "us against them," good vs. evil construct. Hence, also being incarcerated entities, the Dark Ones don't react well when the Warden or it's Sentinels are invoked to occasionally banish them from human affairs. Exorcisms of all forms tend to be a hit-or-miss affair at the best of times, and it's not by accident that it appears to validate certain aspects of any of the established Religious Doctrines, long-proven as an _excellent_ form of mind-control.
