Outdoor cats are free cats. Not as in they have freedom, but theyre free for the taking.
Outdoor cats are risking their lives and causing tangible harm to the enviroment.

I rescued my tuxedo cat as a 4 month old semi feral and he became an indoor/outdoor cat until he got bit by something. After a very bad infection and a big vet bill he became an indoor cat exclusively. After a few years I could leave the front door open and he would sit and stare out but never venture past the doorway. I miss him.😢

Wonderful music. Nice to see peace among these cats. It is clear that Tommy just needs some time to realize they are not a threat - they seem to like Tommy.
Already they are at peace. The orange creamsickle cat is showing submission by laying down, showing he is not a threat. The tortoiseshell cat doesn't seem to care one way or the other and is seemingly oblivious to everything.

Amazing how he had changed. I remember when was very mischievous and normal skinny. And he used to talk or did respond with a cute or naughty noise.

We feed thirteen (most) days feral cats in our garden area where they live. And we have four indoors. Two are Manx cats. One of which is tree years old, weighs less than five pounds. About the size of a five month kitten. She is the BOSS and will fight any other cat to prove. The big cat weighing in at 17lbs, she's one of the grey blue cats mixed w Maine coons, is scared of little Rosie cat. Big Hannah hides. It's so funny to watch Rosie. Our vet claims her and forever bugs us to let him have he. She would be a vet cat but go home with him everyday. We don't have Manx cats around here. Someone brought a female in, threw her and kittens out and got two from the humane society. Got them spayed as asked too. We love them both a lot. They are very territorial! They sit and grwl at everything out the windows all day. I'm afraid Rosie will attack some company one day!

It's not precisely a strain; as my wife noted the key to understanding cats is to think of them as human toddlers... forever. I honestly think a major reason we cohabitate with them so well is that we are more similar than either species is willing to admit... 😺
