Hi Nessa, loved this video and I found the tip about repeating past papers helpful and will definitely be doing it today onwards. I don't have insta so could the proof book scans be linked in the description of the video? Thank you!
My favourite tip was making your own textbook as memorising formulas is something I tend to overlook so having it written separately will help me go over it more often.
GURLLLL I got my maths result today and got an A!!! Literally over the moon my teacher gave me a C in summer so I sat autumn exams so glad I can across this vid!! Thank you so so much😭
I think ny favourite tip will always be the redoing past papers until you get a certain mark. I actually do it after every test, from memory, and I found when I went through and read it properly, I often made really silly mistakes, e.g. subtracting vectors instead of adding. I'm going to get the A* no matter what:^))))
i'm a bit late but these tips were super helpful, especially the tip about repeating past papers until you get the grade you want! i'm in year 11 rn and planning to take biology, chemistry and maths at a level and you motivate me a lot to work hard and get the A*s i'm aiming for!
I think my favourite tip is having a proof exam book because it's one of the simpler marks to gain and is a topic that reoccurs often but I always miss out because I can never do the proof. Being able to memorise it in my opinion is very useful as well as repeating the exam paper because I just usually leave it after doing it once.
My favourite tip is definitely studying the specification because I feel like it is a very useful resource that students don't use even though it is great for identifying if there is anything that you have missed out or are weak at when it comes to creating an intentional and effective revision plan- thank you!
THE STUDYING SPECIFICATIONS TIP!!! “i always thought i was studying them but i actually wasn’t” FELT THIS u always feel like u’ve mastered them until u take a blank paper and try solving a problem
currently at a low B and i really want an A* despite not requiring it for my offers so coming across this video is like a GOLDMINE. I've never heard these tips before and my favourite was definitely repeating the past papers until 90%. I'm about the start the easter holiday so I will be using these tips along with my revision throughout the two weeks for my final mock. thanks for making this video!
This was so so useful! I'm applying for Law at Cambridge this October and working on putting myself into the right mindset for getting the grades I need, thank you!
@@puddleduck1405 unfortunately I didn't get in :( I tried the best I could and I even had an interview, but I'm just trying not to be too disappointed in myself, thank you for asking though :)
my favourite tip was deffo repeating the papers and actually charting results, especially under timed conditions. Seems like it will also serve as extra motivation since you can actually watch yourself progress.
My favourite tips is definitely the progress chart one! I usually feel so frustrated after screwing up the papers, but I guess it’s definitely better to record the mistakes, go and revise it, and redo it!! Would surely try that out. Thank you so muchhh!!!
i think the progress chart method will rlly work coz like u could actually see how well u did?? like oh my i improved a lot compared to last time and makes u more motivated? ye thank you for all the tips!! 😊
mannn i thought flashcarding the questions you found hard was the way to go but now thinking about it, my question banks are so full that i may not see them in a while. redoing the paper in a week or so definitely clears that problem! thank you for the idea, i currently have till june to slay and i gotta get from my B to an A :)
