I am not aware of this band, but I will give them a listen when I have time!
Jason drumming in 3 Rules Band is more technical and complex than in Symphony X.

How you liking that pedal with the dual slave drives?
Setup-wise it's amazing because I can have the bass drum in the center.
Feel-wise it's a bit heavier than the "fast" pedals (axis, demon etc), but that's true for all Giant Step models, so I don't think it has to do with the fact that they are both "slave" pedals. I prefer it this way, though, because it allows for more dynamics.
