I just picked up one for the cabin in Alaska since the mosquitoes are so thick this year! It has been one night and the trap is filling up with mosquitoes! Since one can lay 300 eggs, every one caught is that much less in the population! You can feed them to the birds too since there isn’t any poison!
read comments about these BEFORE buying, about half the people that buy them seem to have major problems. I purchased the Patriot Plus over a month ago and have caught two mosquitos total. The unit won't run for more than a short period and it cuts off. I used freshly purged propane tanks (three times) checked and re-checked everything, and still just very disappointed with this very expensive product. Tech support, as you will find in the comments about these units, is almost zero, at best, someone will read the online .PDF manual to you and ask you things like---"is the unit connected to a propane source?"----seriously, I almost laughed at the lady on the phone. Can't say mosquito traps don't work, but can certainly say I have a useless $350 piece of plastic sitting in my garage and the mosquitos living large in the backyard. Save yourself some money if this is your plan and buy a few citronella candles from Lowe's.

We haven't caught any mosquitos, what's wrong? Gas being used, fan running, attractant in place. Help!
