I prefer run all day bases off of 12v lawn mower batteries with aligator clips running on a power chord.
Ive had them last 30+ hours on a single charge. Great for keeping machines running (and forgetful formen).
I just ran a hiper V off of my car today when it ran out of juice. 😅 Good stuff, keep the videos coming, seems like there isnt much community info on these as Id like

Yeah that can definitely work. I tried and test all sorts of different batteries and solar panels. I have plans to make a video covering some of the best combos I've come up with at some point.

Can I go higher than 1w is magnet or do I have to change the radio type etc. I’m ci for table using the system for site work but I haven’t ever messed with the radio settings much and want to know what’s best and all my options.

The internal radio board is a 1 watt radio. If you need more output you'll have to use an external radio. There are many different radios that can be easily connected and configured.
      Pac Crest ADL Vantage 35
      Topcon SRL-35
Satel has several different sizes or external radios as well.

Hey buddy I know its not related to this video but how do you change color lines within a surface. For example if you wanted the road lines a different color than the rest of surface lines so it stands out in the dozer/grader screens? Thanks!

Yeah definitely, in the data collector if you go to Data > Layers you can select a layer (curb or building, etc) and change the line color to whatever you desire. We try and standardize our models that we build so that the line colors are always (Blue = Storm) the same making it easier for the operators to understand.
In Topcon machines you go to File > Layers and you should be able to change it there. If you're not sure what layer a line is on you can hold down on the line or select it and hit the little i in the bottom corner and it should give you the line properties, including the layer

Just curious, Are you a dealer or an end user?

Both. We sell used Topcon equipment, but I started as an end user and then product support through a dealer.
