    Do I need to pay tcs tax on top of the amount that I am paying western union or is it included.
    My payment is of 14.9L and the bank is asking me to pay 40k on top of it as tcs tax

    • @sumbulsyed95
      @sumbulsyed95  Год назад

      Hi Ansh. The total amount that you pay to Western Union usually includes your TCS tax that goes to the bank (which you can even get back when filing for tax refund). So if your fee is 14.5 lacs then 40k is TCS tax (total is 14.9 lacs) that your bank is charging unless your university tuition fee is coming around to be 14.9 lacs due to which the bank is charging TCS over and above it. I hope this makes sense.

    Hi what exactly do we need fill in the form , and one more thing does this entire process should complete within quote expiry like sending money to icici bank and icici bank should send to WU ??

    • @sumbulsyed95
      @sumbulsyed95  11 месяцев назад +1

      Hello. You should be able to download the form easily in advance and see various details that you need to fill (I have also explained it in my video). Regarding quote expiration, your money transfer from your bank account to ICICI pool should happen before the quote expires and not for WU to send money to the university. Hope this helps!

    I will be paying through BANK OF BARODA.. so instead of filling a form...there is another option in the mobile app for OUTWARD REMITTANCE..... will it work... Is it the same thing?

    • @sumbulsyed95
      @sumbulsyed95  7 месяцев назад

      Hello. Unfortunately, I am not aware how Bank of Baroda processes international tuition fee payments. As long as the app is allowing you to pay the tuition fee, you should be fine. But I would still recommend that you visit the nearest branch once to get more information about it. Hope this helps!

    Do we have to hold an unconditional offer before making the payment?

    • @sumbulsyed95
      @sumbulsyed95  Год назад

      Hello. Thank you for your question. Universities usually ask for security deposit to confirm your place in the programme which eventually counts toward your tuition fee. This is different from your tuition fee which you pay after you hold an unconditional offer. Please note that you can pay your tuition fee either in lump sum or in instalments. I hope this helps!

      Hi Amanda. Unfortunately, I am not well aware of tuition fee payment methods in the UK. I paid my fee from India. However, it might be useful to know that I had to visit a nearest branch to pay my fee as there were many formalities involved. I hope this helps!

    Hey bud, I had to make £2000 as initial tution deposit. My bank is axis, it only allows 50000 to pay in 24hrs to a payee. I had to generate the new quote with new Benificery detail add in my axis app and then again pay another 50,000. I have just paid 100,000 INR for now. My payment gateway was convera. Now their site is under maintenance and can't generate another qoute till sometime.
    How would you advise me to pay other 1000£ ??? Please suggest

      You should receive an email from Western Union after your university has received the payment. That can take 1-2 days. However, if it's taking longer then visiting the branch might help.

      Hello Sami. Yes, if you apply to any university through consultancies they can definitely pay the tuition fee on your behalf. But majority of the students prefer to pay on their own as the tuition fee amount can be big. I hope this helps!
