It took me forever to find this video!! I had no idea what the P-Trap was called!! I've been watching videos of everything DC17 and found this video! I had a cat toy, tons of dust, and a yellow highlighter all crammed in there!! No wonder my wonderful vacuum kept turning itself off!! THANKS SO MUCH!!
Thank you sir! I thought I had it on correctly and couldn't get the plastic tab over as far as you did. Turns out the clear plastic ring wasn't lined up correctly. Thank you again!
Bless your soul for this post, I've been smashing my head against the walls for 3 days trying to reattach this accursed piece of plastic. I saw this about 15 seconds away from going full-on rampage... Mine was misaligned too. 🙄😡🤠 Thank. You.
The user manual does not instruct to re-install this part while in the reclined position. Dyson refers to this part as the "U-Bend airway inspection." The part does not seat back in with the unit in the upright position. I couldn't figure out how to install it correctly until I watched your video. Thank you.

How do you get the actual U Bend Cover back on? You point to it but never cover that. Please help
