You can only stay for 90 days in Brazil and then apply for an extension, otherwise you will stay illegally.

The law 6815/80 requires that to return to Brazil, the deportee must reimburse the Brazilian Government for the expenses incurred with your deportation and you must wait for your authorization to be able to return to Brazil.

For the record, I've been to Thailand myself, and love it there. I might retire in Thailand. The only problem with Thailand is, the Thai language is extremely difficult to learn. Extremely difficult, I mean for anyone who has tried to learn.
The food, the medical care, the people, the sense of community, are superior in a lot of ways to what you can find in the United States. And Thailand is more fun, if you like fun, with better weather.
