- I packed up my Toyota Highlander and headed into the woods for a solo car camping trip. I made sure to bring a fishing pole to do some fishing as well as a nice firepit to relax around while listening to the sound of rain.

While my wife and I really enjoyed the car camp, I enjoyed the way you didn’t touch the fish & released it. Not many people seem to care about the damage caused to a handled fish. You truly are a gentle-man.

It was perfectly fine on my laptop with XDR - it was a bit dark and corrected itself pretty fast. Great video, loved the setup. Nice little lake for some trout.
Again, the best part of the video for me is when you pray before partaking your meal. God bless brother and take care always. I’ll be camping too with my wife next month somewhere coastal here in SoCal.

Your right there are covers for propane tanks to insulate from weather. The Outland Living Firebowl UV and weather resistant 740 propane gas tank cover looks interesting. Some mixed reviews but covers are definitely made to protect your tanks from weather. Hope you find a good one with a fair price. Love the beautiful trout..a lucky fellow he was released! What a nice set up. The toaster thing reminded me of my grandmas house when I was just a kid… she had a kerosene stove and used a contraption kind of like what you had but certainly not as shiny. That was over 65 years ago so you can imagine… we even popped popcorn in a wire basket type thing… maybe you can find one of those. 😉Congrats on the rainbow trout… it was a beauty! Peace!

I've camped with this setup for years. And when I'm not camping I have one set up in the back yard with a mat on the ground. We have a table and a couple of chairs and we call it our redneck patio.
It makes for such a nice little spot to hang out! Very affordable to 😊
@@BaumOutdoors I could literally live that way full time. I have a pickup truck so if the weather gets really terrible we can always sleep in the back. I've used those pop-ups so much that I've worn out several over the years. Been camping with friends and we set up three of those (ours have straight legs) and used tarp clamps to pin the edges of the canopies together and had a HUGE space. It was SO much fun!

I looked last night (Saturday) to see if you'd put a new video up but it wasn't. I'm glad I checked tonight (Sunday) as it made me happy to be able to sit back and watch and enjoy the lovely spot you chose to camp at.
As for your setup I bought something similar for our middle daughter a few years ago for her and her young family. We all love camping and that's a quick easy setup when you get used to it.

As a long time watcher of Kenny's videos, I say to you, go now. I'm 67 and haven't been camping in years. So in early August I went camping in the west Cascades and it was the most refreshing thing I've done in years. I don't know where your located, but just do it. Get out there and enjoy yourself and the sights, the smells of the air, the sounds around you. Even if it's a deep winter camping trip, you can find adventure. You just have to get up and do it.GOD bless.

Lol. When I heard the rain 🌧 I shouted yay 💃 and did a rain dance. That's an awesome setup and as you said...big enough for the family 👪. Glad you got that fish 🐟 and released it. Kenny, love the vehicle and tent setup. I always laugh when you break out the endtable and lamp. You know how to live it up. That was a beautiful Rainbow Trout you caught. I see you're good at catching Arugala too.😀. Loved the Wok. That dish you made is very similar to my favorite Chinese food dish called roast pork Lo Mein. Which I just ordered after viewing the video thank you very much. I think you can get one of those insulated pads like they use on water heaters to keep the propane from freezing. Not sure though. If you have a Harber Freight, might try one of those covers they put on stuff when you are moving. They are quilted, might need a something water proof though. Enjoy the video as always. -Tony
