People look too much into Body Language and Acton's/motions and the signals they give off. Honestly I think here they both took a break from attacking each other, let their guards down and just eased up a bit and had a fun moment. Nothing to one up the other. I believe they both showed that they're human and can have a sense of humor and in the end of all the media's portrayal of hatred and dislike towards each other it showed they both have one common goal (a better America). I actually liked the moment/high-five (even tho it was kinda a low five, maybe to hide that they really don't hate each other as much as ppl think but that would be looking into body language motions too much), I just think it was all in fun and benefitted both of their campaigns if ppl saw it.
Don't get me wrong you can tell alot about someone through Body Language and their actions/motions (and they over emphasized this in the clinton/TRUMP debates) but I don't think it applies much in this high-5.
