Shindo was a mid game, the whole thing was just adding random bullshit after the Naruto stuff once a week. The gameplay was macroing until you’re maxed and server hopping if you have robux.
I think the game looks fine, the slow pacing isnt it but it gets the job done, but the movie's direction was weird. Things like swearing at the audience and the "jokes" made during the video weren't funny, I personally didn't find an issue with it but I can see how it could be a huge issue. Overall the movie definitely wasn't meant to give us a "final version", rather just complete was what introduced in movie 1, contrary to our expectations

Reaconteur, the games combat model being either non stun, mini stun, or true stun doesn’t make the combat bad or good, because you could say that non stun is bad because you don’t get a big punish on your opponent or you don’t get a big punishment for screwing up or you could say that true stun is bad because it’s simply “less skilled” than non stun(I don’t agree as if you lose a fight in true stun then it’s mostly because of your mistake and not just because of “no skilled combos” as your opponent wouldn’t have gotten the combo if you didn’t make a mistake), it depends on if the game does their combat model good or not, for example, type soul, even if it’s fun, has a terrible take on non stun parry base combat(bullshit “parrying” windows which make you predict instead of react, reacting is the whole point of parry based combat so making the parries prediction base is idiotic), but peroxide on the other hand does true stun great as they have accounted for m1 spam on blocks to make you have to unblock giving your opponent a free combo if you have higher ping than your opponent and can’t m1 to stop their m1s(block counter) and wall combos that are unfair as you can’t get knocked back to escape the combo(wall counters), and they have also made low cooldown evasives to escape combos. Basically, the whole point of this yap sess was because you keep trying to make true stun sound bad even though it’s not the combat model, it’s the way the game works with the combat model.(Imma c + p this on the “Type soul vs Peroxide video” because that’s what this comment is mostly for but I put it here since you mentioned the combat models thing)

So, players should call the black flash a Haki punch, but black flash is more iconic.

I am so glad someone has the confidence to talk about this. The movie was lackluster and disappointing, my friends and I hopped into fishing simulator and its the exact same system. Cool non linear progression but don't spend 10 minutes on it on the most hyped video on roblox anime in ages.

He does have stat points, but doesnt look to have levels and in the first movie, they said the progression wouldnt have levels and be focused in "learning blueprints". One more thing, the combat mechanics in the game make sense but I never understood whether it's parrying is more like deepwoken or type soul. Being that it looks like the parrying is more active. You have to press f before the hit lands and not when it does.

When I followed Rell Seas, I was like 10 maybe 11 from shinobi life 1 and their naruto game before. the black flash thing is just coincidence that conquerors attacks have black lightning, which on the main menu of the game they do correctly, so I don't know why they overblow the effects specifically for the punch shown in movie 2

It’s still gonna be among the best one piece Roblox games (ignore that all of the competition fucking suck, maybe it might fall short compared to deepwoken but it’s definitely going to be more accessible and easier to play than a perma death game)
Honestly, you might be right. Combat looks janky, stiff, slow, and isn't even that good. I'll still try the game out when it releases, but my expectations are pretty low as of right now. I also hate true stun combat most of the time.

I am so glad someone has the confidence to talk about this. The movie was lackluster and disappointing, my friends and I hopped into fishing simulator and its the exact same system. Cool non linear progression but don't spend 10 minutes on it on the most hyped video on roblox anime in ages.
my biggest worry for this game is fruits, i don't think anyone wants to spend yet another 10 hours/days to get the fruit the want, for the second, third or even fourth time

i do wish the progression would look a little different, but i dont see a problem in the combat at all imo, and the dashes sharing A-D and W-S cd's are normal for alot of games, i like that style of play as it lets alot of your m1 and combos have more creativity as u can use ur forward dash for entry and then your side dashes for mix ups or combo extenders.
(edit): also abt the blackflash thing, thats just advanced conqueror's haki. it does that same exact effect in manga panels too.

a bandit beater is a game where the *only* way to level up is killing bandits. And that is not "black flash" that is haki. One Piece did it first.
nobody’s going to want to spend 3x the time fishing or cooking to level up, if the fastest and only way worth progressing is boring PVE it is a bandit beater because that’s all everyone’s going to do to get past the boring progression, the reason why games with better pve aren’t bandit beaters is because it’s fun fighting enemies in those games

About being or not a bandit beater, is kinda strange. He does have stat points, but doesnt look to have levels and in the first movie, they said the progression wouldnt have levels and be focused in "learning blueprints". Dont care enough to search more, but probably we will need to wait the game to see if it really is or not a bandit beater

8:57 its not a direct JJK reference, during the Kaido fight the “black flash” appears a lot whenever luffy and kaido clash or whenever luffy lands a pretty powerful haki hit, unless its confirmed to be black flash it could just be reusing the effect from the series
the slash effects everytime the hit the npcs just feel weird and look bad to me i dont know why it just makes the pve just look unappealing
Its not black flash. Its just Ryou, which is when you exert your haki at a speicifc time in order to deal internal dmaage and extend the range
you talked more about their marketing than the game itself
One more thing, the combat mechanics in the game make sense but I never understood whether it's parrying is more like deepwoken or type soul. Being that it looks like the parrying is more active. You have to press f before the hit lands and not when it does.

When I followed Rell Seas, I was like 10 maybe 11 from shinobi life 1 and their naruto game before. My guy I'm 20 and many other's have matured past bloxfruits age range so I don't think they are targeting people that young. I don't have a problem with the gameplay critique that was good and I agree with some of it, but the advertisement critique doesn't fit with the title. I respect your opinions and your hard work.
