Thank you explained that a primer is a percussive explosive. I follow the same guidelines as you with them. It is a good idea to wear safety glasses through as many reloading steps as you can tolerate. Here is a silly question from a rookie reloader. If he brass is "fire formed" to your chamber, why does it have to be resized? I can understand cutting it back down to length but other than that, if it fits back in the same chamber where it was formed it should fit over and over, right? Or am I off here?
So would There even be a use for an expander manderal if you use the bushing fl sizing die? Wouldn’t the bushing die and sizing die take care it it anyways?

The Whidden click die is .001 per “click”, they’re easy to adjust and they now sell “click” lock rings for other dies. The separate Forster Co Ax primer seater is an easy to use tool that provides good feel for seating primers. Thanks for the video.
Good video! What’s your thoughts or exp on brass life? Are we talking about cases lasting 30-40 firings compared to not annealing where maybe you get 8-10 out of the cases….? I don’t really know as I only started precision rifle loading last summer. Thanks for your feedback:)).
Leaving the expander ball inside of the die is just another way of removing imperfections from the inside of the case neck. This is also going to set the inside diameter, which will have the greatest effect on neck tension. The mandrel is preferred because it works the brass less, provides better support to the case shoulder, and avoids pulling the brass in the way an expander ball does. If you have the mandrel, I think it is worth it for most uses. If you are loading rifle ammo in bulk, 556 or 308 or 30-06 for blasting, might go with the expander ball to avoid the extra step.
Wasnt that the Hornady Headspace comparator guage that you referenced along with the Whidden Bump Comparator Guage for datum line measurements when talking about taking measurements from your fire formed brass?
You don’t need a recapping die, just remove the expander ball from a regular sizing die and run the them all the way down but just don’t push the case all the way into the die.
FYI those calipers work great from taking quick measurements of how much you are adjusting the lock nut. It will save you from stupidly over sizing your brass.
Some really bizarre process errors. I mean, what he does "works" but it's not exactly a smart approach, more brute force/trial & error. Seems to be a common theme for MPA.
watched a video from erik cortina where he shows how he measures the die and lock night and adjusts that instead of wasting brass and having to trial and error it so much
Thank goodness when you resized you managed to get the correct measurements. Initially you failed to understand the difference between 3/1000 and 30/1000. Other than that thanks for showing us what you mean; I’ve seen plenty of people describing this but not showing it.
Subscribed cause you got good content. However, I think you might have a deviated septum that’s causing you to have difficulty breathing through your nose. This makes it harder to understand what you are saying as you are gasping for air after every sentence. You also might suffer from sleep apnea from this and I’m not trying to be a dick or anything but mouth breathing can cause serious long term health issues such as dementia, diabetes, heart disease, etc. I would strongly encourage you to get it checked out.

Would I want to remove the carbide ball from my Redding hunter dies if I size then use the mandrel? Or leave it in then use the mandrel?

Use the coax to prime. It's the same each time, it's not the fastest but once you get into a rhythm I rather like it.
Great video one tip Get a Hornady ANVIL for those calipers easier to measure with and better accuracy instead of measuring off the caliper Blade
You need a set of the Redding Competition Shellholders for setting the shoulder back.
On the new whidden dies it's 1 thou for every notch they are click adjustable
General rule of thumb for a full length die screw the die till it touches the base the back off 1.5 turns and go from their.
For my dies (.270, 300 H & H) 1/8 turn beyond die touching shell holder for resizing brass full length for hunting applications.
