Simple and Maintenance Free Stone Landscape Bed

  • This is the final part to complete the landscape bed. We had already completed the retaining wall along with the paver walkway. Those installs can be viewed in previous videos. In this video I take you through the grading, base preparation and the stone install. Stone beds are a great addition to your landscape and if done right, will last a long time with little to no maintenance compared to a traditional mulched bed.

    I have been using that fabric for a couple years now... I didn't even know that a heat knife was a thing!! I will have to get one... Thanks for the video.. keep up the good work.

    Merely curious, with the excess fabric 10:51 is it okay to overlap it, versus cutting off the excess?

      You sure can but I keep the scraps for other projects. I use the fabric in plant containers to keep soil separated from the drainage stones on the bottom of the container.
