Loving this tour. I’ve already started reading a bit on the town, the Berwind Family, and it’s all so exciting but I’ll have to hold off until some free time. I love these small towns and try to imagine the who, what, how it was to live during their heydays. Absolutely fascinating to me. A study in social classes, the sweat blood and tears of the laborers, hopes and dreams realized and those not to be.

I've watched 4 of your latest videos in a row. this town particularly looks really nice with all those green areas and it also looks like it has many different places you can go for a walk to. it looks a bit boring though. good entertainment Toon, see you next video!

We are in fact a coal mining town. Manufacturing was more to the Johnstown area just a few miles away. Coal had not been mined for several years, and around 2009 they started up again. The Berwind Coal Company was original, hence Wind-ber.
That's on the eastern portion of PA. I'm focusing on the western portion of PA. For the next few months. Well see what the future holds. Thanks for watching the video 💯✊️
