Well I'm going to date myself here, lol. So many of the same toys were in my house growing up. I have such mixed feelings about estate sales. I prefer to go to ones (I don't resell) where the people just moved away or out of the country. Going to ones where there's real old stuff always makes me sad because you know someone either went to a nursing home or passed away. It just makes me think of all the years of memories in the home and all the things these people loved enough to save. I guess I'm just sentimental.
There are definitely people who want to be in the first group in to grab the "good stuff". Personally I'm one of the choose the battles that you want to fight and that are worth arguing over. You have the right insight; you always still find great things to sell/flip even if you're not in the first 25 people who get inside. You're a class act. Keep it real.

I’m a little late to this video but wanted to say I love estate sales for the yard equipment and cheap cleaners. As a kid, my sisters and I had all the Fisher Price sets. The garage was my favorite!

What a sale!!! These people saved so much. Every time I see an estate sale I think about where these people are now. Their whole life was wrapped up in these items that they saved for literally decades. Did their kids want any of it? So interesting.

The Fisher price garage is from 1976 to 1978, my brother got one for Xmas. It lasted through us, my two boys and my niece and nephew played with it. Good find.
I enjoyed looking at the house! Gave me nostalgia……the doors and woodwork were identical to the house I grew up in. Tons of stuff!

Looks like you got some great stuff! Sometimes it's not good to be at the front of the line. They are in there so fast that they over look some great stuff! Line cutters not good but not worth making a fuse over especially now a days. You never know what they will do if spoke to wrong!

I used to have one of those virtibirds when I was a kid. fun toy!! OMGoodness, your reenactment with the tense music, I was getting nervous!!! I love it! That was one of the most amazing selections of stuff at a house I've ever seen.

I also like when people go through my sealed vhs piles at the flea market trying to find a super rare one with high value, what browsers don't understand is that most flea market people have gone through their finds themselves and obviously pulled anything of value.

Wow, just came on here by accident, that sale was two doors down from my office, i almost freaked out when I saw all the cars parked out there. I kept peeping out and it was 2 hours before I could walk out and go to the sale. I'm glad I got to see what I missed. Folk, it was crazy, so many people made it very hard to see & maneuver. @Pro Picker - Dustin: I was bracing myself for a highly inflated grand total because of your comparing a TT of unknown state of repair with a professionally refurbed one. (Sometimes *eBay* comps of a specific model are difficult to find though .) I was relieved to hear your disclaimers and a reasonable total at the end. Nice work. It surprised me that many of the items were still available after other buyers had a 30 minute head start. I suppose most of the early birds were locals who were buying for personal use and the pickers were looking for different items or operate on higher margins. Interesting video. Thx.
Thank you. To follow up on the turntable it thankfully worked perfectly. I think most of the people were just so enamored by the clothing or the coins that they mainly focused on that.
@@propicker I've noticed that popular items tend to suck the air out of the room creating buying opportunities in other categories of items. Strange though, I would have been all over the audio equipment (depending upon the prices). I already have 2 earlier model Technics (better design and build the earlier the generation). I doubt I would have "collected" a third one but its always ripe for a flip. By the way, your videos would be noticeably more engaging if you noted the prices that were marked on the items. Encourages viewer "participation" of sorts.

That rolling stones shirt Id probably black Friday some people haha. Nice, you settled on $400 that was what I was thinking to offer so they probably had come back at 450 for me. That house looked like you could sell anything in it lot of vintage, crystal probably, saw some candlesticks that could be good.
