I love it when codsworth says "tis but a scratch!" When he gets hit sometimes
Cool cool
JUST A FLESH WOUND
I am the black night
@@jacksonelh wait a minute...
Ee
I heard a raider say "ah fuck! A bullet in the knee!"
+Dash Star Did the new gang in Fallout 4's Boston - the Atom Cats - ever mention or reference the Tunnel Snakes?
Because if so ... then that would make my day. : )
+The Sci-Fi Centre I think if you attack them, one of them screams out "Atom Cats rule!"
+The Sci-Fi Centre the atom cats garage is located northwest of Quincy
Typical Bethesda 😊
Typical Bethesda 😊
every motorbike in fallout 4 has Lone Wanderer written on it
It's also in new vegas
well yeah because thats the fucking brand of it
Vlad the gamer thought I was the only other person who noticed that. Really don't think that's a reference like this kindly gentlemen just said I think it's the brand of the bike
@@sandraholt8660 hello fellow courier
There's a guard in Diamond city who references being shot in the ass. He's probably the referencing Forrest Gump.
+Dalibean BGFMP Or maybe the skyrim reference.
+Matúš yeah, because somehow every guard took an arrow to the knee.
Thought father gabe is a reference to gaben.
Yup me too
Same
+mik123184 No, he prays to Gaben, their version of the Bible is the terms and agreements of Steam.
I thought he was a referance to outlast for....reasons...
I'm so dissapointed :( ALL HAIL GABEN, LONG LIVE GABEN!!!
Tunnel snakes rule!
No Father Gabe is actually a reference to the lord Gabe Newell
maybe
+Richthofen Friedrich True, but are we gonna forget Portal, Half Life, and TF2?
I believe someone is new to the internet
i was just going to say this LOL
our Lord and Savior
----------tunnel snakes rule-----------
+sniperlizard Tunnel snake rules, were the tunnel snakes. Yeah, yeah, and we rule, ruuule!
tul sake rul
foxyh2o Mares #votetunnelsnakes2016
+Dan Sheridan you wood sho pepel my canle thake you!!!!
foxyh2o Mares No problem m9
Thinking about it now it would be cool to see what fallout is like in other countries
I've been thinking the same thing for so long but no one has ever made a video or anything talking about it. I'm glad I'm not the only one.
it seems like it is except its not from our own country, its murican
+darragh keary yeah fallout is murican patriotic game
I think Bethesda will only do it in America because it would be REALLY hard for them to adapt it to other parts of the world. Note how all of them have taken place in America up till this point; much like Elderscrolls has taken place in Tamriel (and our short visits to the other more "supernatural" realms). I would also like to see Fallout take place in another country or place but I don't think Bethesda will do it.
+Maneymon The Fallout series is a commentary about the Cold War. The only other place where this would be relevant is Russia - which might be cool to see. How Russian shelters are different culturally to the USA.
In vault 75 you can find some blocks in a corner that spell out "Gary", I think I found a vault 108 reference
Those blocks can be found all over the commonwealth
In the asylum they spell crazy.
i found gary blocks in a truck at wicked shipping, if i got the name right
Bro i found dudes saying that in fallout shelter anyways it's found in a vault it's a mission
There is a Titantic reference in Far Harbor
Where?
+Mitchell Liu cool
Tristen Castillo there is a refrence to THE WIZARD OF OZ in a mission with the railroad people when a kid says "I don't think we're in Kansas any more."
Really?! I've played through their quests time and time again and have never seen that. Looks like I've got to play again
Tristen Castillo it has to do with a kid and children of atom and I don't have fallout yet in the mission you get a deathclaw companion that's tiny I am not going to tell you what type it is. hint it starts with c
no its lord gaben
I love your voice dude
istoppedwatchingthischannelcuziwouldjizzwhenihearhisvoicethisismyfirstvideoinalongtime
+MoiGamers he wants you to read it fast 😊
+Dash Star hey! I didn't know you were on this channel! :)
***** cool beans, dude!
***** so you like Fallout and Star Wars!?! Sweet!
High five!
When Skinny Malone gives you “the count to ten” he’s referring home alone 2
Vault 88 DLC, the overseer brings up the dude responsible for all the vault tec experiments, who is the little girl in Tranq Lanes and currently trapped forever in the empty simulation.
When she said that I'm like I HATE BRAUN!!
I hated that girl
Father Gabe?
Father Gaben?!?
+Rexton Illumanati Confirmed
#333
Father Gabe nule
I've been to Cheers. That was over a week ago.
Omg, I love South Park, I didn't even notice!! XD
4:08 brotherhood of steel sittin in the sky
maxson is in fallout 3
yeah
Yea
Noah Hughes so is maccready
Noah Hughes He was? Didn't knew
Yadiel Ocasio he was one of the kids you can talk with.
7:05 there are multiple motorcycles that say that, I found one before
Go to Siri and say "dial vault tec" XD
Ill do it for alexa
She said it won't dial in my lists of contacts
My favorite subtle easter egg would have to be how in the vast majority of locations where wooden blocks are found, they'll be arranged to spell out "Gary". A reference to one of the stranger vaults in Fallout 3 full of clones.
Father Gabe = Gaben(Gabe Neul)
just a theory but would seem likely as gamers basically worship him
true
that's exactly what I thought
Gabe NEWELL you infidel !
It’s Gabe Newell, not Neul.
Three dog reference on diamond city radio after completing the game (with brotherhood of steel, i know works)
Fighting the good fight
He sais it after destroying the Institute eith any faction
Father Gabe huh maybe lord gaben reference???
always awesome and informative thanks for doing what you do
Great job Dash! :) Really fun video.
I just called Vault Tec right now. That's crazy awesome!
+ForklifterMatt what's the # because I tried it but it didn't work
I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO NOTICED WHERE YOU GET DOGMEAT
Father gabe= father gaben
and the song Shauns crib plays is also from Tranquility Lane
loving these fallout 4 videos
2:28 maybe gaben
anyone else found the shipwreck with Norwegian raiders?
"I'm... coming home..."
Ragamuffin Skullman do you even Norsk mate?
HawkDave Nope. I can only english and spanish.
So why there is norwegian raiders? Fallout game in norway/orther nordic countries? That has to make sense :D
Aslay i have no idea why they are there. just found em one day, but it was hilarius
There is another reference to the lone wanderer in a perk that boosts your stats when going alone. You can also hear MacCready say Tunnel Snakes Rule when you find the Railroad, saying he always wanted to say that
Really a well done video!
If i call vault tech will i get in trouble?
oh
You'll be their new test subject.
SenpaiSancho YT
Ol
Also codsworth says "tis but a scratch" if you dont know the movie you have no life
yeah cause thats totally not something people say.
It's just a flesh wound! Is that the movie reference your on about?
I'LL BYTE YOUR BLOODY ANCLE (sorry I spelled it wrong)
Burn the WEITCH!
+xrexkinect I heard of a place where women will volunteer to be punished by spanking, you should go there some time.
The Pickman Gallery is actually an easter egg to the Lovecraft mythos.
Richard Upton Pickman was a creepy artist in Boston.
There is an Yogi Bear reference too, you can find this park that has a trailer house parked next to a picnic area with a dead park ranger inside and two bears there around the picnic area
the vaulttec number doesn't work anymore
then you did it wrong I just did it last week
I love this guy's voice, but not as much as Morgan Freeman's.
Try hellbents voice
Jacob Robinson I love that guys fucking voice too.
Spencer Schexsnayder I didn't like his.
Solaire, Warrior of Sunlight basic
Progoon 15 wot?
God I was hoping that the red rocket thing wasn't actually related XD
*"Red rocket! C'mon, Red rocket!"* LMAO
That has nothing to do with south park
it looks more like a mobile oil pegasus. mixed with a radio flyer wagon type of art, and the dog joke predates southpark by a long time lol
you missed one, I heard a legendary super mutant say: COME OUT COME OUT WHEREVER YOU ARE! Which is a huge easter egg to one of annie`s taunts in league of legends.
That phrase doesn't fucking originate from LoL you fucking neckbeard. If you had a life you'd know.
NarwhalGamer jesus christ, what kinda sandy-vagina monster are you? are you a easter egg aswell?
I'm actually a grappling hook in an armchair. btw #niceshirt
*im going to kill myself*
+Varyan The just smart one XD
I found most of these. Glad others did aswell =) The Lethal Weapon one cracked me up :)
Tunnel snakes rule!
the music the thing above the cradle in fallout 4 before the bomb hits makes are from fallout 3.
he said "2077"... you mean "1977" @1:04
Roo No I think he meant 2077.
it's was funny when Codsworth said Mister Tittle.Like if you agree
The Grognak the Barbarian game may be a reference to Wasteland which one of the developers left the company later and created Fallout.
There is also a white boat on the north-east side of spectacle island that kind of resembles the boat from jaws. It is also half underwater but that is the only thing that is really the same. There are also a couple of life boats with a woman's skeleton.
Notice no references to 1,2 or New Vegas? Bethesda just keep motorboating fallout 3, arguably the worst game in the fallout series.
ningen richmond mr house is referenced by deacon I'm pretty sure but besides that it seems they just want to say " HUHUHUHU HEY GUYS REMEMBER F3" while they shove away the better games because they're to stuck up to let people know other people make better versions of there own series
exactly
Dylan Fontaine Okey dokey Dylan.
I love fallout 3
God, i hate South Park. Nothing but immature, disgusting "humor".
Pussy
+Igotbored ROBLOX is a childrens game.
I just love how hatefull southpark fans are too. If you dont enjoy it they immediately spew hate and childish insults. Good job proving me right, guys.
+SwordBreaker925 yup.
+SwordBreaker925 I quite like the show due to how they insult everyone, but yea.... this comment chain is god awful
What's that background song you played when you were talking about kthulu?
Also, another thing. Far Harbor needs Kthulu as a boss.
Montresor was not Fortunado's friend in "The Cask of Amontillado." He hated him from the start.
The music from shauns crib is the music from tranquility lane
Ive watched TONS of these Fallout Easter Egg vids but DUDE I NEVER HEARD OR NOTICED 89% OF THESE!!!!! RIGHT ON!!!
The Jaws reference also has the shark cage sitting at the bottom of the lake beneath the boat.
Fallout 76 and it's reclamation day were mentioned several times before it actually came out. One time is in fallout there's dlc "mothership zeta" where one of the recordings is the manager of vault 76. Also, when you are listening closely to the news reporter in fallout 4 In The beginning, he mentions vault 76 and reclamation day and doesn't talk about the other vaults as much.
Damn. Now I want to go play some Fallout again. I haven't played it in forever.
Grognak and the Ruby Ruins was a half-hour well spent.
When you talk to the Doctor on the Prydwen, he will say, "Please state the nature of the medical emergency." This is a direct quote for the Emergency Medical Hologram from Star Trek Voyager.
Came to the comments to see is anyone else noticed this reference. I'm a Trekkie and this reference made me love Fallout even more 😁
There was a reference to Gibs from NCIS on the terminal from BADFL.
Surprises me to see so many songs in this video coming back into the Fallout 76 trailer
3:17 I realized that the question of the safe test were the same ones from fallout 3
In fallout 4 when you do the BoS mission where you take over a base with super mutants to find mini nukes, there is a manual called "who goes there" which is an actual book but this book refrences to the movie "the thing" by john carpenter
In a bunch of locations you’ll see a stuffed monkey with cymbals. Its eyes will turn either red or green, start flashing, and the monkeys head will go up and down while playing the cymbals. I think it’s a reference to Toy Story 3
During the part about the Lovecraft references. What is that background music?
Speaking of Edgar Alan Poe references, Nick Valentine will quote "The Raven" when he sees Prydwen arriving, after we killed Kellog.
As far as Blade Runner references, the Institute courser uniform looks almost exactly like Roy's coat from the movie.
The lone Wanderer is also a reference to the song in the trailer
Pickman's gallery is also a reference to HP lovecraft's story called Pickman's model.
the crest on caits belt is a quote to skyrim
There is one reference you didn`t mentioned yet. At the location "University point", you can find a chalkboard inside the building. The Coulomb`s constant is written on the chalkboard, with defines the light speed in a vacuum (if I got that right ^^) and therefore gives an explanation on how the energy weapons do work. I am not sure about it, but it`s still interesting
One of the raider's journal entries on a terminal in a factory seems to make an obscure reference to a song about Hanako in Katawa Shoujo. "Lilly! It's fucking Lilly!", when they're talking about another member betraying them.
0:28 that part of JAWS is so goddamn terrifying
One of the best parts of Fallout is definitely the easter eggs
i love little things like this
I know Fallout 4 came out like 6 years ago but it's all new to me. I just started playing it like 2 weeks ago I feel like I found a hidden treasure in the bargain bin at Gamestop.
Still holds up to any other game even today and I'm playing the vanilla version with no mods.
I did play fallout 3 and New Vegas about 2 years.
And then I just finished playing through cyberpunk which takes place in 2077 So it felt like a natural transition too Fallout 4 that starts off in 2077
Rob pearlman the actual guy who says "war..war never changes" is the voice actor for the news guy on the TV in the beginning
His name is Ron, not Rob.
the lone wanderer on the bike is probably a reference but there's more than one of the bikes saying that
5:05 No wonder why I found a bear wearing a war helmet, smoking cigar next to it is an ammo box.
James Bond with the Deliverer (Walther) was my favourite.
I called that vault tec number you said would work but surprise surprise it didn't
My favourite tv show (twd) being referenced in my favourite video game, my life is complete.
I wandered around the tranquility lane area and it scared the shit out of me when i looked around and realized it
5:50 That did confuse me as hell when suddenly I'm being teleported.
After that I felt into the water hole with power armor. I load the safe and quit the dungeon. I only need to kill the leader, don't want to go further and drown.
The Shamrock Taphouse in Waterfront has a John Waters "Pink Flamingos" movie reference.
The teddy bears are a refrence to Call Of duty teddys and all locations where they are located throughout the franchise
5:05 GIBE ME THE BACKGROUND MUSIC xD
theres a guard in diamond city who has a line awfully familiar to the arrow to the knee reference
The weird thing is the first time I met macreedy was when I had butch as a companion
I *LOVE* the Blues Brothers!
When you kill skinny Malone Nick says "Goodnight sweet prince" that is a reference to the book Hamlet by William Shakespeare.
My favorite Easter egg is on the prydwen in were the scientist are there is a plant know as the mysterious plant. Which looks exactly like a nirnroot from elder scrolls
I really like the fat man commercial on the tv in the start of the game.
the goat part the guy who asks that his name is my last name
The sweet roll Easter egg, don't forget that one
what about nicks brave new world reference, funny how i discovered it while writing an essay on the book itself
