    A very informative and welcome video as far as I'm concerned. I have already ordered the camera and I expect it to arrive in a few days. I would like to ask you something about the fuse panel and the hardwire kit, because I'm not good at such things. I noticed you removed the red fuse and inserted the red wire in its place. I connected a camera to the fuse panel before, but the wire ends were bare and I tied them directly to the legs of the existing fuses in the panel. If in this case you replace the original fuse with the one at the end of the red wire, will it also take over the function of the original fuse? In other situations, I noticed that the fuses at the ends of the wires in the hardwire kit contained a slot where the original fuse was also inserted, so at the end there were two fuses in the same slot of the panel. Thank you.

    Hi there! Thank you for your video. I've made all like you, before search your video and it works. But I can't find the setting for turn off the surveillance mode. So the cam record all the time. This can't be good for the battery. Do you know, where the function is? Thanks a lot!

    I have installed a hardwire on the dash cam but im not using the one EUKI sells. I have activated the parking mode. But when I turn off the engine. The camera says Disconnect Acc, will turn off. Any idea why is this happening?

      You most likely have it wired incorrectly. Please follow the steps in this video to wire it to the correct fuse:

    I'm honestly pretty disappointed with the purchase.
    First: Camera does not provide 170° image width.
    Measured only approx. 95-98°. I really compare this with Garmin mini 2, which delivers an honest 120° width (140° diagonal angle).
    Secondly: The camera cannot be adjusted horizontally properly because it has a rigid attachment and therefore cannot be rotated. Only if it is placed in the middle under the rearview mirror will it look straight and horizontally forward. If you place the camera somewhere else, because of the curvature of the windshield, it will look sideways and not horizontally.
    Third: the time display is quite bright and will be blinding at night. Unfortunately, the brightness cannot be dimmed or even switched off.
    Fourth: the rear view camera... when it's attached, you couldn't really rotate it 360° because the lens hits the window.
    I didn't test the image quality because it was no longer relevant for me...
    Return without a doubt!

      That sucks that you feel that bad about it. Did you contact Euki about these issues? I’ve never measured camera lens wide was on any camera because personally I’m not that picky. When I installed this camera you can see it has a pretty good wide field of view. But good for you for noticing that it comes up short. As for the rear camera I can swivel it just fine and the lens doesn’t hit the window. I suppose it depends on your glass. As for the curve of a windshield that you mention, you just have to use common sense if your window curves side to side then put your camera in the center. That’s not actually a problem. And as for the brightness of the display, you see I have mine right in my field of view. I’ve never had an issue with brightness. I think you are just stretching for another negative point to justify the return. If that tiny screen blinds you, then how do you drive with your instrument cluster illuminated and your radio display on? Lastly why are you thinking of testing the video quality? It’s super crisp. Are you thinking it might not be 5k maybe it’s only 4.9k? Can’t you buy a product and just be happy with it. I’m guessing you are that guy that orders fast food and sits there pulling the burger apart and counting the pickles then returning it because they had 2 instead of 3 pickles. Then you probably weigh the burger and tell them it’s not a 1/4 pounder it’s too light. You count the fries too?

      But it can be rotated, at least that's what they advertise. And it's impossible the screen can't be shut off...is it?

      @Staples-King yes it rotates up and down but what this viewer is complaining about is that it doesn’t rotate side to side. They would rather blame the product instead of using common sense to put it in the center of the window like the instructions say to. And the “sleep screen” is just a clock. They are complaining that the clock is too bright because obviously their car must not have and radio buttons or gauges. Some people need to blame objects when there isn’t any issue. I’m still using this same setup today and have had no issues. I have a super wide field of view side to side so no need to rotate it and the screen is only as bright as any vehicle’s instrument cluster. Thanks for watching. Please like and subscribe

    Hi, will this go into parking mode automatically once the ignition is switched off?

    • @BillOfAllTrades2016
      @BillOfAllTrades2016  6 месяцев назад +1

      Hello. You will have to go to the JarvisCam app I showed in the video. Then in your settings your will see parking mode. You will have to manually turn it on after you first install the camera. Then once parking mode is active it will automatically go to parking mode once the ignition is shut off. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching. Please like and subscribe

      Sorry another question, does the rear camera activate during parking mode as well as the front?

    • @BillOfAllTrades2016
      @BillOfAllTrades2016  6 месяцев назад

      That I’m not sure about. I can check that out tomorrow for you though. I actually haven’t used parking mode yet because it’s winter here so if anything activates then it will be frosty windows so the view won’t be good. I’ll activate it tomorrow and try walking past the back to see if it turns it on. And I’ll let you know.

      I believe a 2016 Equinox, regardless the video is applicable to most any vehicle, it's more a product review.

      @tssci6774 this is on my 2017 equinox. And yes this method can be replicated on any vehicle for the front camera. However the only difference would be the rear camera install. For suv or hatchback you will use the same method I did running the cable through the rubber grommet, whereas a sedan or truck can just run from the headliner straight to the window as they have no pivot in the window.
