just look at the schedule lol. Same record, basically same accomplishments, only difference is Miami has more tight games and lost to Georgia tech, while smu has been beating most teams by ~20 and lost to BYU.
Technically there's 31. Realistically there's 22. Very Realistically there's 19. Likely there's 17. Win out and you're in there's 13. Illinois absolute chaos shot? indiana loses two, penn beats minn, osu and oregon win out, minn beats wisco, i feel like illinois can sneak into #12 depending on other results.
ASU and Colorado would be in the control their own destiny tier, as if either team wins out that includes winning the Big 12 and likely securing an automatic bid
if a&m beats texas they would have to be above texas in rankings with the same record with a harder schedule and a h2h win. even if they lose in sec championship they should be in
I dont hold weak schedules against teams too much. I like to look at the significance of a game at the time it was played because a team could have had a hit start to the year, but flamed out. I still do look at the SOS and opponents records, but its not the end all be all for me
It is the 4 highest ranked conference winners. If Boise State finishes higher ranked than let’s say SMU, then they are the four seed behind the Big10, SEC, and Big12 winners. Not saying this will happen, but that is just an example.
@@jabbahurstyif Alabama and UGA lose the SEC championship they should drop? It’s an extra game against most likely the #3 seed. Nobody in a conference championship should get punished for an extra game

@@jaydendenham6205 when Miami loses to Syracuse, Clemson vs SMU will be the ACC championship game, regardless of what happens when Clemson plays South Carolina

Who is the biggest SLEEPER to make the CFB Playoff?
Arizona state
Arizona state
My sleeper picks used to be Wazzu and Pitt, but they're both out now, so my new picks are Clemson and ASU
If ASU wins, they control their own destiny next week for the B12 title game appearance!!
Clemson
SMU being ranked behind Miami despite currently leading the ACC is mind boggling
Sadly it’s brand Bias.

Miami needs to lose one more game in order for Clemson to get in the ACC title game unfortunately
If Indiana is blown out by 21+ by Ohio State i don't want them in the CFP. They'd be a free win for most of the other teams. Maybe not Boise or ND.

Penn state actually can still make the big 10 championship but it's really unlikely
Do you think the sec runner up , with 3 losses, would still make it ? I feel like it depends on who it is
How would Boise state get a bye if they aren’t in one of the big 4 conferences? I thought the 4 conference winners got automatic buys.

Texas A&M v Texas is a playoff eliminator for the loser and the winner will lock up a spot. mark my words.
I don’t think Penn State is in if IU beats Ohio state, even if PSU wins out
Penn state will beat Ohio state in the natty 105-0
