Which does not make any of them "bad" critters. I am not in any way saying you shouldn't, it's just that oftentimes people get pissed off when something comes along that the food was not intended for. I wish you luck as they often need the food and they are a blast to watch.

The property owner may not know - groundhogs often have multiple dens so she may be elsewhere in the area. Males also often have 1-2 females so who knows. Either way Chunk's still the cutest thing!

He is just so lovely. Saw before that you wrote that he lives under the shed/garage but it's open at all sides so it can't be so nice with all wind. close a corner or so so he has more shelter and toss in lots of straw so he can build a "bed"
How is your garden planning coming? I know it's too early to put anything out yet, but you must have seedlings already. It's a stunning weather around here today and all the wildlife are out foraging. Absolutely glorious. Nice to see Chunk is being cautious.
