      @@חנןכוכוהןנןנןהןהו uh yes it's literally common knowledge to be true, it's straight arm strength just like a planche, meaning you're using a lot more tendons and joints than most exercises which use mostly muscles, and this exercise is really an upper body workout far more than anything else, it's literally basic biomechanics with extremely basic knowledge of the exercise and its muscle usage, basic knowledge and you still couldn't even manage that

      Ehh... Diet makes them show MORE. Simple growth will still make them more visible. Diet also plays a huge part in building muscle in the first place.

      Strong, well built abdominal muscle tends to show under up to 5-7% more bodyfat

    Ab wheel is my favorite ab excerice it made my abs strong af. I know it's gonna be made out of steel by the time I'll be capable of doing a standing ab wheel

    1. on your knees
    2. on your feet against a slight incline
    3. feet + flat surface

    my favorite ab variation is cable reverse squats cuz of the variety of it. if you’re a beginner you could go light, if you’re advanced you can do it heavy, and not to mention how strong it makes your hip flexors too. truly a top tier compound exercise definitely up there with pull-ups and squats

    Toes to bar/rings are the #1 exercise for abdominal growth. Add weight or resistance when rep range becomes easy ❤

      i feel very little stimulus in my abs despite having perfect form, it's all in the arm and shoulder tendons and joints since it's straight arm strength

    Look at Natural Hypertrophy, the French guy. He is on a bulk as I'm writing this. But his abs are still showing. He works them hard

    hanging knee raises are too hard for me. I use knee raises in the top dip supported position

    The issue I find is that most people don’t have the upper body size to aesthetically want bigger abs… much better to focus obliques and intercostal muscle will give that more all around look than a little turtle sitting on your stomach 🐢

      No it’s almost a country one, refers to herding cattle. Like saying your “chickens have come home to roost” means reaping what you’ve sown, getting what you deserve, etc. cheers! 😁

    The problem with any of the exercises mentioned, they're purely aesthetic. Meaning any guy that trains abs for functionality will have:
    1) better life,
    2) healthier life,
    3) most likely not have a visible sixpack.
    If your choice is to be something lesser, with less functionality, but look better and make an impression on people that know nothing about it, go for it.
    Otherwise, forget everything you heard here and find functional training for abs.

    Abs are meant to resist flexion, not promote it. I would focus more on functional ab exercises.
